Location was good. Flat seemed clean although there was an off smell lingering in the bathroom

This was my dodgiest experience on Booking.com ever. We got put into a different apartment, we booked a 1st floor flat and was put on floor 4 in a building without an elevator; THERE WERE MISSING PIECES FROM THE WINDOW IN THE MASTER BEDROOM WHICH WAS COVERED WITH PLASTIC BAGS, BUT WAS PEELING OFF SO AIR AND NOISE WAS COMING THROUGH; the bathroom lighting wasn't working and a very dim standing lamp was put in as a cover; the whole place felt unfinished with AC units and unassembled furniture lying around in the flat. Also the wooden floor was uneven and was hollow and felt unsafe to walk on. There was a broken bedside lamp in the master bedroom too. The whole flat had a bad vibe to it with the missing window panes, broken lamp etc. My wife and I had to share the SINGLE BED in the spare room because we didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the double room (thank god there was a spare room). This was absolutely not what we paid top money for a night.
