The location is awesome and the house definitely has a vibe! We had a small issue with the pool but as soon as we reached out to the property manger she was on it and had it fixed very quickly. She communicated with us and made sure we were happy. We were happy and sad to leave. Overall, relaxing vacation for our family.

We had a wonderful trip to Clearwater! The house is one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in and the location is perfect. The house is so close to the beach and that area makes you feel like you are on a private beach. If you want the hustle and bustle of the marina you just drive a short ways. Loved this stay and hope we can come back in the future!

What a wonderful stay we had at Walter’s house. It is clean, tastefully decorated, has plenty of kitchen utensils, is comfortable, and we loved the pool. This was so much nicer than staying in a busy, tiny hotel room. Our only complaint…we wished we could have stayed longer!

We (2 adults) stayed the month of March, 2023. Awesome location! Quiet residential area, low traffic, safe/easy biking in the neighborhood, 5 min walk west to uncrowded Gulf shore beach, 5 min walk to seawall on Bay/Channel, 5 min walk to a Jolley Trolley pick-up/drop-off, 25 min beach or sidewalk walk to nearest bar/restaurant, 40 min beach walk to Caladesi Island. The online photos of the home match our experience. It was well equipped for an extended stay. Everything worked as expected. One caution. Parking is not allowed on the street anywhere in this residential area, and on-property parking is limited to 2 vehicles, 3 if you block the sidewalk. This was a problem when we had guests with their own vehicles visiting. Some neighbors were helpful, others not. The owner & property manager were very nice and responded quickly & pleasantly to questions/concerns prior to and during our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again when we return to Clearwater Beach.

It's a beautiful cozy house close to the beach. We got everything we need. Not super close to stores but we can always do doordash and Instacart delivery. They got a nice clean pool and very big space just for me and my husband. It was a memorable trip.

Older decor but very clean property in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

There were limited amount of plugs in the bedroom. Bring a power strip. It is a very close walk to the beach which was nice, but I think it would be better advertised as “a close walk to the beach” than three hundred feet to the beach.

Walter's home is lovely! We so enjoyed ourselves, and didn't want to leave. This was the perfect getaway for our family, and probably the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. Walter was very helpful and easy to communicate with, as was Mary. The neighborhood is private and quiet, and the beach was gorgeous. At times, it was like we had our own private beach. We enjoyed the sunsets in the evenings and searching for shells in the mornings. The water was perfect! Just a quick walk around the corner, and the beach is right there! Walter's pool was super clean and larger than expected. We did pay for heating because it was the end of November, but there were a couple of days that were so warm, it may not have been needed. The beds were very comfortable and the home had plenty of space for us and everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our time in the Florida Room and in the screened in pool area, which was a dream! So much privacy and relaxation in the pool area. So close to all of the shopping and restaurants, yet it feels like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle. The location is perfect. Walter, thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us and making us feel so welcome. You are a spectacular host and we definitely plan to return!

The property is very close to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood. The property layout was good and the beds were comfortable. However the property had cleanliness issues, including mold in the dryer and mold in the master bedroom A/C vents.

A really exceptional mid-century/modern eclectic house lovingly cared for and perfectly located. The Florida Room and private pool were exceptional attractions for family time (children ages 10 & 13); beach was only a few minutes walk and sparsely populated. A dream property for anyone looking for a true “getaway!”

You couldn’t ask for a better location. One minute walk to a private beach. It’s far enough from touristy stuff but not too far away. Great communication from host. The pool was nice. Everything was super clean except the washing machine; the inside was completely covered in mold so don’t recommend planning to do laundry.

After four days in Orlando and the hectic atmosphere of Disney, we drove over to Clearwater for a three day stay at this house. The location was great, right around the corner from a quiet beach and just about a 1.5 mile drive from restaurants, shops, and public beaches. The house and pool were great for us and our two kids. Plenty of space, pool toys, dishes, beach chairs, anything you can think of. Looking forward to a longer stay next time. I hope the house and the area make it through Hurricane Ian okay!

My family and I stayed at this property at the end of August after a 5 days at Disney. The location to the beach was a short 3 minute walk as others have mentioned, and very private. We also to a walk to Caledesi State Park, and took advantage of the pristine beach. The beds were comfortable, the Florida room was great, and the added ice and water feature on the fridge was exactly what was needed. The pool and pool area are both great, and refreshing after swimming in the warm August ocean. Walter was great and Mary was as well. Highly recommend this house and location.

Just came back from the vacation in Clearwater. The property was awesome. Very cozy and charming. We spent most of our down time in the ‘Florida’ room that is very open, sunny and overlooking pool. Pool area was very nice and serene. Very private beach only 3 minutes walk. Very clean with very white sand. The owner provided plenty of beach towels, floats, chairs. The house even have shower on the side of the house so you can clean up the sand. Very handy. Walter was very responsive and provided very clear instructions. The place is also very close to many cute shops and restaurants. Definitely be back.

This was our first family vacation since the birth of our daughter and my husband and I just wanted a relaxing, “easy” beach vacation as much as you can get with an almost two year old. This house gave us everything we wanted and needed. The community was quiet and felt very safe. It’s literally a 3 minute walk to the beach which we basically had all to ourselves almost every single day. The private pool was such a treat after a hot morning at the beach or perfect for that relaxing toddler naptime swim. Our little one loved the pool area and since it is enclosed my husband and I could relax and not have to worry about her running off. There were lots of provided beach toys, chairs, floats, etc which is very nice when your flying so you don’t have to pack a bunch of extra stuff or buy things after you arrive. Having the gas grill was really great and my husband grilled every single day. Several previous reviews have mentioned that the house is outdated but if you’re coming to the beach because you’re wanting to stay in a state of the art home then I think you’re going on a beach vacation for the wrong reason. This is an older home but it’s charming and everything is in working order. We cooked almost all our meals in the kitchen and it was so nice to be able to do laundry whenever we needed to. The furniture was comfortable and we were able to shower and bath our daughter with no issues. But the best thing about this house is the location! Steps from the beach but just a few minute car ride from the main hustle and bustle of Clearwater. But once you enter the private community where the house is located you would never believe how close you are to everything. Beautiful neighborhood and the beach is just gorgeous, the water was crystal clear and the sand was like white sugar. There were times we felt like celebrities because we had it all to ourselves, like it was our own private paradise. The owner, Walter, was very accommodating and flexible and was quick to respond to emails. My husband and I both agreed we could not have had a better stay and our little one loved every minute. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

It is in a perfect area, very functional and clean. We did have a check in issue and when we called the property manager the number listed did not work. They did reach out to us after we reached out via messenger through the app which was helpful, but it was from a different number than listed. The one thing I would suggest is to update the mattress in the master bedroom.

Had an excellent time. Property is as listed in a very quite neighborhood. Had everything we needed; kitchen utensils, beach towels, beach toys and chairs. We really enjoyed the pool. The beach is a short 5-10 minute walk from the house and was not crowded. Excellent communication with owner. Would diffenutly stay again.

I loved this place. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and had a great set up for our family. The bedrooms and bathrooms had a dividing door to rest of the house. It had a lock at the top so we didn’t have to worry about our 3 year sneaking out to the pool early in the morning. The door was right by our room so as soon as he woke up and tried to open the door we heard it. The walk to the private beach was an easy 2 minutes. The beach was amazing. I walked 2 miles on the beach to Caladesi island and we took the ferry with the kids there. The beach at the house verses Caladesi were about the same. We looked at other beaches and the main CW beach and felt like we hit the jackpot with the beach at the house. There was a leak and the property manager was quick to respond. If we go back to Clearwater again (12 hour drive), I definitely want to stay at this house.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool! Great distance from the beach and from restaurants! Plan to visit again!
