Great place to stay. The cabin was super clean and well stocked. Very convenient to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor while still being private. Spent five nights here and wished it had been five more!

The cabin was perfect for our stay in Acadia! The cabin was perfect in every way and definitely met our expectations. The host was quick to respond to our reservation requests and Che in and our was easy. The location was perfect and only a few miles down the road from the Acadia National Park entrance.
Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin! We will definitely be back😊

The cabin is super sweet, very well made and maintained. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck listening to the acorns drop

Wonderful stay at the cabin. Was very cozy & beautifully decorated. Lovely location. We would definitely stay there again if vacationing in Bar Harbor again. Could stand some improvement with better quality toilet paper & replacing Queen mattress.

My husband and I booked this cabin because of its proximity to Acadia NP. We were very pleased with the accommodations - clean, comfortable, cozy, and close to the park. Also, the property owner was very helpful and responsive. I definitely recommend this property.

The location could have not been better!!! Very clean and comfortable! Our first visit to Maine and Acadia, we will be back !

There are many wonderful things about this property: very close to Acadia National Park entrance and downtown Bar Harbor, extremely clean and updated inside, very quiet neighborhood, quick response from host. Suggestions for improvement: games/activities/puzzles, basic cooking items (oil, coffee, etc.), fire pit, better groomed yard for outdoor use. FYI to future renters: the "path" to the "beach" is really a very steep, rocky, embankment. A young, fit person can easily access but could be dangerous for older folk.

Had a great week in Maine staying at the Half Tide Lodge.
So very close to the Park and Downtown Bar- Harbor and we even went to Bangor to see Stephen King’s house.
Could not have picked a better place for us to stay!
House was so clean, cozy, and comfortable!
Would 100 percent rent this house again when we come back to the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location cannot be beat for proximity to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was nice to be able to come back after a day exploring the area and have a clean home to relax in. 10/10 recommend and if we are ever back in the area we will be looking to stay here again!

I visited Maine with my husband and twins, age 7. We loved the location of this cabin, it was so
Clean and the communication was clear and checkin was easy. We were even notified it was ready early if we were in town. We loved the proximity of the beach but it was a steep way down the rocks to get there. Even so we visited daily and found so much sea glass which my kids loved! We will definitely recommend this property to others.

Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from town.

The house was actually nicer in person than the online pics. Super clean , has everything you need. Perfect set up for our family as we have an 18 and 20 year old so the one bedroom with the twin beds was perfect along with the futon in the living room. A little smaller than we normally would rent but very comfortable. The only negatives are no laundry (which we knew when we booked) and the yard was not conducive for children to really play as it was more mulch and flowers. Overall if we come back to bar harbor in the future I would stay again

We stayed at this great cabin for our first trip to Maine. The cabin had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. We really enjoyed exploring the rocky beach at the end of the street.
Acadia was only a 2 minute drive and the downtown shops of Bar Harbor were only a 5 minute drive. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 12 year old and 9 year old). The only thing that would make the cabin better would be a washer and dryer but there is a laundromat in Bar Harbor if needed.
Would definitely stay here again!

Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown BH. But, located just 10 minutes away! Acadia entrance less than 5 minutes away.
Very, very clean and spacious for my family of 4. The rooms, again, were very spacious. The twin beds were perfect for my boys.
Has everything you would need in a stay including beach chairs and a cooler.
Would have been nice to have a washer and dryer, but I knew it when booking.
The host was quick to respond and was very helpful when I contacted him.
Would stay here again.

The cabin is situated in a peaceful area which is in a convenient location to both Bar Harbor and many of the popular hiking trails in the park. Our hosts were very helpful in suggesting activities. The whole process was smooth. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed the convenience of the location as well as the fact that it’s off from the main areas and so very quiet. Check in was easy and everything was found just as described. Great property to rent!

What a wonderful place to stay for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia! The cabin has a location that can't be beat, and it was a perfect spot for our family. The hosts were quick to communicate with us and gave us great information.
The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of laundry facilities. We stayed for almost a week, and it was really tough not to have access to a washer/dryer in the home. With hiking and exploring outside, we had lots of dirty clothes, and we didn't want to spend part of our vacation time at the laundromat. Other than that, it was a GREAT place to stay!

Loved the cabin! Host so helpful! Hope to someday be back! If you come to area go to General Store right as you start drive into Bar Harbour on Hwy 3. Best baked goods ever!

The setting and cabin had a homey feel that was relaxing and quiet. Bar Harbor has great restaurants and shops. Cloudy for our sunrise on Cadillac Mountain but was still beautiful, and cold. 😁

We just returned home from a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Its in a quiet, woodsy neighborhood with water views of the sparkling bay. This immaculate cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfy stay. The location is ideal…literally minutes to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor.
The host is wonderful….so accommodating and helpful. You can tell he takes pride in this treasure of a home.
If Acadia is on your list, look no further. This is the place to stay.

I am the pickiest person when it comes to vacation rentals. This cottage and it's location is amazing. Look no further!
A few things to note:
1. The walk to the shore line is like 2 min, tops. As you turn the corner, you'll see a little path that brings you down to the shore line. Low tide gives you the most space, as it is all rocky. Once you get down, head to the left and there is a bit of a clearer cove area that you can head into the water to cool you down after a long day of hiking/biking! Wear water shoes. The Ovens is a must see. It's a bit of a rocky walk, but it's worth it.
2. You can see the water not only from the driveway, but also looking out the back of the house. Every morning the sun shimmered off the water as I made breakfast. It was so great.
3. The Island Explorer (free bus) will stop for you on the main street (Rt. 3) right at the end of the road. Cross the street and flag it down to get into bar harbor or the park. On your way home, ask them to stop at Hanscom's Motel. It's so convenient and easy.
4. The house is spotless. It still feels brand new.
5. The window ACs do an excellent job cooling down the house when it's humid. The ceiling fans and other fans are great when it's not humid. Nothing says climate change like 90s and humid in Downeast Maine.
6. Last but not least, YOU MUST WATCH THE SUNSET FROM THE BEACH! I caught this on our last night and it was incredible!
Everything was just so delightful, I could write for pages. Don't hesitate to book this.

This was our favorite Vrbo so far! The location was great, took walks every morning. Close to Acadia for hiking, and to downtown Bar Harbor (but out of the fray of traffic). The kitchen was well stocked. The living area was a good size with comfy chairs. The bedroom was comfortable, although room darkening shades would be nice. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

What a wonderful home and location! The home was very clean and well appointed with all that we needed for the week. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the window air conditioning units in the main living area and each of the bedrooms as we visited during a heat wave. The home was in a great location to downtown Bar Harbor and to Acadia. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to come back to after a long day of hiking and adventure seeking! When we make it back to Bar Harbor this VRBO will be our first choice! Thank you!

Quiet neighborhood near the water. The picture of the stairs leading to the rocky beach was slightly decieving as that is private property, you can only access the caves from walking on the beach and back. The amenities and location was great, convenient, and true to the listing.

Good property for exploring MDI
Good clean property with a lot of space and a nice yard. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a thoughtful inclusion of many of the things that helped with our stay (e.g., towels, beach chairs, pack & play, etc.) Some of the sheets and mattresses seemed a bit worn but overall the condition of the property was good. The air conditioners were unexpectedly helpful as we ended up staying during a heat wave. Great quiet neighborhood with virtually zero street noise and super close to the water. Michael was a helpful and communicative host.

Outstanding!
Staying at Michael’s cabin was a great experience. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The kitchen is fully functional and the living room and bed were very comfortable. There are very nice outdoor spaces on the wrap-around deck and patio in the back. The neighborhood is quiet and only a few miles from the Hulls Cove main entrance and visitor center for Acadia. And only a mile or two past that to the center of Bar Harbor. Michael checked in with us when we arrived and again when we left. I’m sure we could have reached him during our stay if we needed too. All in all, a lovely place to stay and we hope to return. Highly recommended.
