The location was perfect for what I needed. out of the way from crazy downtown, but right over the bridge and a nice, long walk to downtown, but my sailing class was closer and that’s what I needed it for, plus quiet to study. A little dated but for the price in Fort Lauderdale and for what I needed not bad.

I’m a clean freak so it wasn’t the best, but he told me even before I said anything he wasn’t happy with his cleaning people and was going to hire a new company. So, I’m sure next time it will be spotless.

The room was very comfortable, and John was an excellent host. The hot tub there was really relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back often.

A second sink in the kitchen area besides the sink in the bathroom would be useful. Everything else in the kitchen area and the entire room were very good.

John was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a convenient store literally next door, which really came in handy for that midnight snack run. Not far from the downtown Fort Lauderdale area.

If I could change one thing, it would be the vicinity we were to the beach.

Loved the host, location was great! Place was kept neat and tidy and access to the hot tub and BBQ was a huge plus.

Only thing holding it back from a 10 is lack of a kitchen sink and dishwasher, though it was made clear that these amenities were not available from the start.

The place was super nice and clean. It’sperfectly located, nearby to the beach and most popular shopping malls. The neighborhood is very calm and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. John is an amazing host!!

We stayed for two weeks and loved it. John is awesome and super friendly. The room is big and even has a small kitchen like area to prep simple food which was a huge bonus for us. Everything was super clean when we arrived. The Kwik Stop mart next door came in handy many many times. There’s coin laundry on site and lots of restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Most comfortable stay we have had in a long time.

The unit itself was OK.

Need car for solo travelers. Too far from Las Olas Beach. Next door to sketchy convenient store and homeless wanderers. And dog feices should be cleaned in the yard. Dogs should not jump on guests.

I spent three weeks there during a training and felt very well. John is a great landlord, always responsive and extremely helpful. If you appreciate a nice and welcoming atmosphere, you are in best hands here. And not to forget: there is a whirlpool to use and free parking places, also canoes and a bike to borrow. A break outside is possible in a corner with garden furniture and parasol. And John has two cute dogs.

Nothing, everything was great

The outside initially made we second guess the booking but upon meeting John and see this room that whole mindset was flipped. It was a pleasure staying and if available I would stay again.

WiFi wasn’t the best but it was still available so that’s better than nothing.

John,the host, was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The price was right. It was clean.

The host was very inviting. The property is walking distance from the highway (95) and about 2 exits away from (595/FLL airport). Gear location. About 5 miles from the beach. Quiet neighborhood.

John was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed drinking my coffee in the morning sitting in the yard in the chairs and reading my book listening to nature. John is welcoming but he doesn’t overwhelm you, very good sense of humor. And I loved his dogs. But a great place to go for a quiet getaway

John was very cool and the room was clean and pleasant.

I had a great stay rested in a very clean and comfortable bed. The host John makes you feel welcome in a very friendly and smiling way. John is the right person to be a host because you can see how much he is willing to go out of his way for his guests. You can't go wrong with John. There is nothing more important than having someone who understands hospitality be your host.
