Excellent accommodation, excellent facilities and modern and clean

I love the location and facilities - it’s why I’ve stayed there many times over the years
The pool wasn’t open which I didn’t realise before booking, not having a spa bath after a heavy day on the hills when I’ve always had one before, the staff calling us ‘guys’ all the time and the price for what was basically just a BnB for us.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. Loved the bath and the shower. Breakfast was excellent all the staff very helpful.
We also booked the spa which was very nice. Would definitely recommend the bubble room for couples.
They were having some work done which meant that some of the facilities could not be use. But as they compensated for this with £45 credit to spend in the complex this was not really a negative
7.0
Nice complex; comfortable room
Looked a bit rough round the edges- could do with some investment to justify high end price. Food wasn’t great and very expensive - restaurant and pub

Was a very clean, modern place to stay me and my partner found it was very relaxing and would definitely recommend
Limited parking at the part we stayed at this meant we had to park further away which made it hard to get luggage in and out. I also would say that the marketing for the pool is different to what you get as the pool advertised is only apart of the spa facilities which is an extra £85 GBP per head.

great facilities for a spa break. good location. friendly and willing staff. well maintained.
Stove restaurant was the weak link. many of the staff seemed to be very early in their training programme. food good but relatively expensive. mark-up on wine was outrageous.

Everything at the Langdale was absolutely amazing. The facilities were fantastic, swimming pool, steam room etc, the stove restaurant was great and food good, the room was very spacious, clean and everything in there that you need, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, fan. The location of the resort is out of this world, so beautiful, gorgeous tall trees against the backdrop of the mountains. Stunning. exactly what we were looking for.
We also payed to gain access to Brimstone Spa which again was brilliant and well worth the money, the experience included lunch
there is nothing we didn’t like

The location was lovely but didn't expect to walk through tbe grounds to get breakfast . For the amount of money per night the langdale didn't do it for me
Th restaurant was on a reduced menu ....burgers and pizza!! We were there for our wedding anniversary so this wasn't good as there wasn't anywhere more local to eat and we had booked the stove restaurant before arriving but no one told us it was a reduced menu till we arrived . The staff were very young and not sure of what they were doing service not good at all . For 250 per night not acceptable

Lovely big room, very clean, super spa day, beautiful estate with great architectural design and landscaping
The location in the Annexe was right next to the drive/road/delivery area. To be woken at 7am on both mornings by lorry reversing noise outside our window, refuse bins being wheeled around, vehicles coming and going over the cattle grid was not the relaxing stay we were hoping for. The room was too warm without the window open which didn't help.
The light lunch in the spa didn't reflect the healthy body experience of the spa, white bread rolls, and sugary cakes and no salad. wasn't quite what we were expecting. The menu in the dining room was limited particularly for vegetarians

Staff were so lovely and helpful always smiling
Think it was overpriced for the room. Altho bathtub was added bonus. Room nothing special, had to get housekeeping in as what appeared to be a knife mark through our duvet and handprints all over headboard like person before us had had an active stay!!
Should be clearer that access to spa at spa hotel is not included as its £75 per person per day to use spa on top of hotel stay.

The breakfast was lovely. Friendly helpful staff and catered for me being vegan
The grounds were stunning. Very peaceful green and replenishing
The location was a little far out from the nearest town
The leisure facilities were only open 10-6 when I would have preferred around this
Also a charity contribution was added to the bill. Which of course I would have paid but the option would have been nice

Upon arrival the receptionist was really welcoming and friendly, she explained the directions around the estate very thoroughly. Staff in the restaurant were also very attentive, both for our evening meal at stove and breakfast. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice and you could tell ingredients were fresh. Added extras such as the spa bath was great and the umbrella which came in handy! The estate overall is in such a beautiful, peaceful area.
Room decor was quite dark which made the room dark, also wasn't great the smokers area was right outside the bedroom when we wanted to sleep with the windows open. Prices at stove were quite steep - although it is the lakes after all. We also would have liked to use the spa but weren't really prepared to shell out £75 pp - we opted to use the leisure facilities that were included which were great, but the pool was full of screaming kids which wasn't really the vibe we wanted.

room was well equipped with everything
general feeling unwelcoming , cold break

beautiful setting and location, the local pub wainwrights is great also.
the rooms are very small, no natural daylight into the room unless you’re happy to compromise privacy or leave your room on display to passers by.

the rooms are really cosy and comfortable. gorgeous location.
the health suite having shorter opening times and having to pay extra for cappuccino/flat whites with the breakfast, should be included in price

Staff were pleasant, room was very nice, facilities were great - all in all a lovely place to stay
Not sure but I liked it so much I thought it would be great to come back with the kids but it keeps saying no kids allowed but I saw several kids when i was there which is confusing???

The food was excellent but a little pricey. Staff were excellent
Room decor of dark brown made the room very gloomy. Bathroom had signs of mould above the shower, and the tile grouting around the bath was not clean. Also developed a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Poor communication during a fire alarm a and evacuation at around 7.30am. No firemen in attendance to inspect and confirm that it was safe to re enter the building!

The location of the hotel was extremely good and very picturesque, within easy access to fabulous walks in nature and also only a short drive to Ambleside and Windermere. Overall we were very impressed with the layout of the resort particularly the spaciousness and the attention to detail. The spa was immaculate and we liked the attention paid to ensuring our safety during COVID. The staff were very friendly and obliging.
Our room, although very comfortable was on the small side and we would have liked a small outside area to relax in the evening. The weather was very good so we didn't mind the short walk to the leisure centre but maybe not so convenient on a cold day. We enjoyed sitting outside after our swim in the area designed for relaxation, but were not able to purchase drinks from the restaurant bar, which was a bit disappointing, but wondered if these restrictions were COVID related.

Excellent hotel, def will be visiting again.
Nothing, visited in Covid times and felt safe and looked after.
