Location friendly staff

Booked a superior room but it was very small. Some issues with cleanliness - e.g. staining on mattress protector. We had a number of bags and no one offered to help - disappointing for a hotel at this level. breakfast buffet was uninspiring and food a little disappointing; I ordered runny scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and received firm eggs on one small piece of untoasted sourdough

Schönes kleines Stadthaus. Voll gestellt mit alten Möbeln. Zimmer OK. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Stadt. WLAN gut und stabil. Parkplatz bewacht für 20 Pfund am Haus buchbar. Sehr dezentes Personal. Ruhige ältere Gäste....

Das continental Frühstück für 20 Pfund ist sehr mager. An sich völlig unpassend für dieses Haus. Keine warme Speisen. Nur ganz wenig Auswahl. Man kann für 26 Pfund warme Speisen bestellen... Eigentlich war dass dort ohne zu fragen pro Tag nochmal 5 Pfund Trinkgeld auf die Rechnung gesetzt wurde... Vielleicht in Schottland so Sitte...

Unfortunatly the lift wasn’t working during our stay

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very comfortable, warm and luxurious. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Limited storage in the room but otherwise perfect.

Outstanding hotel, beautifully maintained and when we were there beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff really attentive and helpful, small intimate atmosphere. Room excellent…as was breakfast. Convenient for city centre, easy walk but very peaceful stay. So much better than the international chains. Not our first stay and hopefully won't be our last

The location is fabulous, quiet street walking distance from Princes St; the staff were very friendly and helpful; the building and decor were really interesting (the artwork collection is amazing). The breakfast was lovely.

The only thing we could suggest is that the bed was a bit firm for our liking. We understand that this is a personal preference. Everything else about the hotel is exceptional.

This is a luxurious hotel !! Its amazing , the stuff are amazing and helpful with a nice smile each time you come and go , the cleaning service is fabulous with a chocolate each time they clean, as on welcoming there was a big chocolate bar and a drink, the suite is very comfortable and nice the bathroom also is clean and big with everything thing you need, the location is great near to everything. And the most important to us that the check in and out was smooth and fast as also , big thanks to the staff and the hotel for making my journey the best.
