Very expensive food!! Especially breakfast.

Great location for exploring the heart of York by foot and across.the road from the Hop on Hop off buses. Hotel lovely, clean and quiet. Staff very welcoming.
Bar prices are shocking! Restaurant menu ok but so many eating places around the hotel which are far better, even for breakfast. Car parking option in hotel limited and we couldn't get a space, council run car park opposite very expensive you are paying for location.

Location was spot on and abt open till 11:15pm on a Sunday when we went for one more drink after coming back
Cupboards smelt a bit damp but off putting. No fridge very disappointing

Location
room was not very clean- carpets had dirt and loose dust balls etc. Our room was not cleaned on day 2 even though we hung a request on door. We were charged $35 for parking for one night when $30 had been quoted
