Good location. Nothing else

The room was very spacious and had all the facilities we needed for our 2 night stay. The staff were amazing and friendly, and the breakfast service was great.

The plug of the shower was not the cleanest, as it emanated a smell when the water was running. The bed was very firm, and not easy to settle into. I understand everyone is different on this point, it was just not to our taste.

Staff were efficient and friendly.

We were on the 6 floor and it was a labyrinth of corridors getting to our room, wouldn’t fancy my chances getting out in a fire.

The man on reception was welcoming and friendly, I wish I caught his name to give him a special mention, thank you!

The room was abit basic and small for a Hilton and one of our towels was not clean. Apart from that was nice

The spa facilities are no longer included in the cost, very disappointing! The public areas such as the foyer, staircase and corridors are looking a little tired. Signage for the rooms can send you round in circles so keep your wits about you!

the room was clean but not the easiest to find and good job I was only staying for a short time as the room was small and you could only get in the one side of the bed, Nice bar area though.

room small and a little basic for what I'm used to from Hilton to be honest, also the note coming to the room to say they had tried to gain access with a request that I needed to go to reception, then been told it due to an unpaid bill even though that was not in the letter pushed under my door and the room was prepaid....!! was not happy they have all my contact details so could of got in touch this is not the way to do business

Upon arriving to the hotel the staff were lovely and professional. We did mention that on the booking we wanted rooms together or at least on the same floor which they did not do which was not good especially as I had booked the 3 rooms months before. Upon arriving in the room I was hit with a cold breeze as the window was left open in my room and it was freezing. The room itself was lovely and clean and it was a lovely space. The TV, fridge, iron, safe and ironing board etc were great to have in the room. Breakfast was amazing!!!! Loved it! There was something for everyone and everything was laid out beautifully. The brilliant thing was the lovely gentlemen who cooked fresh eggs/poached & omlette, such a lovely touch. The breakfast staff were lovely. My entire stay was amazing, the staff amazing and the hotel was amazing. We are definitely booking to go back.

Bedrooms were ridiculously small - small than a single bed in New York. No parking and charged for extra in local multi story Swimming pool and health facilities were at extra cost None of which was covered by the website

The room was not as clean as I hoped many of the Hiltons I’ve stayed in usually cleaned to high standard was little disappointed when I arrived to find there was a lot of hair

The staff were delightful at all levels. A really great atmosphere. Very efficient and very pleasant. Hotel very central.

Bar not welcoming enough. Too remote. Not open onto pavement so missing out on passing trade. Taxi rank right outside most convenient!

The staff were lovely and helpful when it was impossible to understand the one way system To get to the hotel. As a disabled driver this was quite distressing. Grateful to concierge for directing me in after 30minutes of driving in circles

Our bedroom stank of stale alcohol and cigarettes. It was like it was in the carpet. It’s was really very unpleasant.

We booked the Presidential suite. For the premium it came with we were disappointed. Its essentially the same as a normal room but maybe 3 feet longer with a sofa, not worth the extra expense.

Location was good. Breakfast was good. The staff were very nice.

Be prepared for creaky floors. We could hear every movement of the people upstairs. Secondary double glazing, we could hear the busses all night long. Fire doors in the hall did not shut quiet and there was a massive gap under our room door leading to the hall. So we could hear everything going on in the hall. This hotel is a refurb of an old building. Its not purpose built to be a modern hotel however this does not reflect in the price. The charges for the swimming pool - £20 for a family of 4. Or £10 per adult and £5 for children. What a complete joke! If you are staying as a guest the use of the facilities should be free of charge.

The rooms are very small, the beds are quite hard and there is low water pressure in the shower. It was very expensive for the room we received. You could stay in cheaper hotels for a similar quality

Room service for someone arriving late at night (10pm) was laughable. Room service didn't answer my calls, I had to go down. Ordered in the bar, staff had no idea how to take a room service order, I was informed 20min later that what I had ordered was not available, I changed, and in the end I got my food (a cold simple not impressive sandwich) at midnight. I started the process at 10pm. Staff was unprepared left right and center. Room is very small, no proper place to even put your luggage. Paying £10 /day for the pool seems excessive for the hotel rate. Corridors look old and dirty (rooms were cleaned well though), there was lots of noise in the halls during the night (trolleys being pushed, staff walking). Shower could be stronger in water flow. Overall, it all underwhelm me, specially for the rate that is charged. It lacks a welcoming vibe.
