The location, room, breakfast brilliant

Ordered a salad a sandwich & chips it took 45 minutes after putting pressure on didn't get the chips

I like that it has its own car park and the interior design of the hotel bar and lounge creating a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely

The standard room was a little small with limited space in the bathroom to put products down

Check in efficient and friendly, great location and parking easy to find and use. Great extras like bathrobe, slippers, toiletries, water, mini fridge, complimentary tea/coffee/hot choc and biscuits.

Room small, cramped and not enough storage space for 2 people. Bathroom small and toilet didn't flush properly, we called maintenance and they said to leave it 5 minutes each time as it takes a long time to fill. It took much longer than that and was very hit and miss. Breakfast was tasteless, the black pudding, fruit juice, scrambled eggs were bland, the hash browns were hard and inedible. For the price this hotel did not live up to expectations.

The hotel staff were fantastic very pleasant and helpful, the bar area was a great place to chill out after a day of shopping. The breakfast again really good great selection. being the third time here and hopefully more weekends to be spent here

Room 810, Considering this was a superior King room, we couldn't get sky to work on the TV. the shower wasn't good not much more than a trickle, this is the third time we stayed, the last time being just last month had standard roof, the shower was a lot better in there than the superior room. being our anniversary wasn't impressed

Hotel room was fantastic and location was great!

Unfortunately on the day we visited the pool area had extremely cloudy water and the steam room was out of use which was disappointing as we wanted to make use of these.

The building is beautiful and breakfast excellent. Rooms are clean. Love the shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom.

Tiny bedroom for two people for three nights. The bed had two metal wires sticking out which caught my leg a number of times. Air con broke and as windows don't open was very stuffy. Windowsill was running with water by the end of our stay. No drawers, no cupboards and no storage space for anything. Just a tiny wardrobe with space for a couple of hangers. As we were booked in for 3 nights this was very poor choice for us as I know there are bigger rooms with storage space. Shower dribbled and tiles had scratches and chips out of them in the bathroom. Carpark cost us £48 extortionate parking cost.

Excellent location and facilities within the hotel.

I booked a room for disability and was very disappointed with the room has did not help with my disability. No walk in shower and the toilet was against the wall and with the aids down for helping to get down on seat and get off no room to move very uncomfortable. Definitely not a room for anyone with a disability. It looks like the room was made for disabled people has a after thought. Not suitable for disabled persons. Apart from that great hotel and food great and staff.

Gorgeous communal spaces and services, excellent location and our room was spotless. Definitely felt like a bit of luxury right in the heart of the city. Parking was incredible value too.

Breakfast was good. The Fitness room and pool were good. Service was good.

The air conditioning didn't work in two rooms. The bar area was gloomy. The overall decor looked tired.

The restaurant, bar, spa , pool were excellent. Ideal location. Car parking was very convenient.

The room was much smaller than expected, practically no place to sit besides on the bed. Air conditioning was working intermittently. Very poor view as we were on the 2nd floor.

Great Breakfast, Omelettes cooked to order is a nice touch. Bar and restaurant areas very well presented and comfortable. Fridge in room very useful, staff very welcoming and everyone trying to help as much as they could

Pillows were a little too firm and couldn't find any info on alternatives being available. Everything else was great

Leisure club

Reception staff member not very helpful - asked about any upgrade as IHG member but dismissed this saying hotel full but we were offered a room on either a lower or higher floor! Lifts from car park not working but no signs directing you elsewhere! Lifts in hotel did not tell you what was on each floor, i.e. reception, arcade etc. No instructions on how to use air conditioning (found out from son and his girlfriend who were staying 2 nights, they had to ask reception on the first night) No hotel information on TV when switching on - not everyone has access to internet TV in room would not go off with remote - had to switch off at plug socket
