Unfortunately a LGBT festival was being held at plaza across the street. The sidewalk outside the hotel was crowded with festival participants. We would have chosen another hotel if we had known of the festival.

The room and the bed were both quite small, and the door to the bathroom was not able to completely close, so no secrets are possible there 😅

When I arrived I was quite blown away by the facade - just stunning! Then it was up to our room with its 12 ft ceilings and antique door….then inside to the beautiful bedroom and bathroom. The chandelier was tasteful, the beds were very comfortable and the view was lovely.

I was a little disappointed that the electric towel rails had been disconnected since I hand wash my smalls every evening and it would have been nice for a drying rack. The Breakfast Room was far too small and crowded to make Breakfast enjoyable, despite the range of food offered being absolutely top-notch!

The location of the hótel was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The shower in the bathroom was horrible, the water was either very hot or very cold. The room was only cleaned once and the beds were never made.

We had a king room with city view. Room was quite large. Bathroom and shower were huge. Bed was comfy. Breakfast had nice variety (although the breakfast area was a bit crowded- it was necessary to reserve a timeslot the day before to be seated right away- the hotel was at full capacity while we were there) Staff was pleasant. Room housekeeping was at request- not daily. This is a plus for me, as long as there are enough towels and coffee in the room, which there were.

We requested a city view room as we wanted a view of City Hall and the square. We realize this comes with the potential for street noise, which we have no problem with. That said, there seems to always be something going on in the square (our first day was a Brazilian Musicfest- second night folks celebrating the re-election of the Turkish president) Both were a little more than anticipated in terms of noise and went till about 11:00 PM (the day we left they were setting up for the Distortion Concert). Just be aware of the possibility of late night loud noise/and music if you have a city view room.

Such a big and high quality Nordic hotel should have a sauna!

The cheese was good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast room was comfortable Waffles were good and I welcomed the staff preparing them. Juice selection was good

A little more variety would be welcome. Poached eggs were not as hot as I would have liked. I did not find a toaster for my bread

The location couldn’t have been better or more central

Facility in decay and personal not prepared. The bar was shameful and the person renting the place and providing the bar services was very poor and make people uncomfortable.

No bath mats provided. Not hygienic. Not safe dining room not big enough to accommodate the morning breakfast rush. Tables packed too close together.

shower does't work properly. Almost no water coming out of handschower. Needs to be modernised. Breakfast very noisy (like an eating room in school) and limited to 45 minutes ! Not pleasant.

Room cleaning is arranged 24 hours in advance via an app. I did this, yet the room was not cleaned. I asked at reception and was told that the app was not working even though it was reception told me to use the app in the first place. It took 45 minutes to get clean towels
