Best Western Plus Hôtel Brice Garden Nice

The location is perfect to experience Nice and surrounding towns, as it is 10 minutes walk to the station and 5 minutes walk to the sea. The room is spacious enough and the bathroom was good enough.

The staff was okay but not extremely friendly.

In a quiet street. Nice garden and lounge. Staff very approachable. Asked for and received promptly a second suitcase stand and belatedly realised I could get a different pillow which was provided. Breakfast plusses were fresh oranges for the juice and fresh fruit salad. Maid service excellent. Room very clean. We had a fair sized balcony which made the room a little less claustrophobic.

Room was very small with no room to unpack which was why we had to ask for another suitcase rack. This unfortunately meant that they had to be moved out of the way whenever we wanted to get at anything in the wardrobe such as the safe. Only one curtain was lined so mornings a bit prematurely light. Breakfast was adequate with a rather poor selection of pastries/ cakes. They have been afflicted with the increasing modern curse of the coffee machine. Nearly undrinkable. The lock on the bathroom door had broken and not been repaired despite this being quite an easy job.

Location fab! Comfortable accommodation. Quiet location.

Breakfast could be improved, very basic and lack lustre.
