Beautiful older style interior with spacious rooms in a perfect location. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful

The only negative is the gym is really small with little to offer. It may not get used much but an extra one or 2 machines would be useful

Das Frühstück war gut – zwar nicht ganz so vielfältig wie in anderen 5-Sterne-Hotels, aber alles war frisch und sehr lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, mitten im Herzen der Altstadt. Allerdings sollte man bedenken, dass es dadurch nachts recht laut sein kann. Zunächst hatte ich ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, wo ein großes Klimagerät rund um die Uhr lief. Auf meinen Wunsch erhielt ich ein Apartment mit Blick auf die Straße. Dort war es abends und bis etwa 5 Uhr morgens durch das Nachtleben sehr laut. In einer so lebhaften und touristischen Stadt wie Krakau muss man damit allerdings rechnen. Die Matratzen und auch die Polster waren sehr bequem, und das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Die zentrale Lage bringt leider mit sich, dass es nachts laut sein kann. Eine bessere Schallisolierung der Fenster würde den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machen.

What I liked most about the hotel was, without a doubt, how beautiful it was. The place has a lot of charm and is very well maintained, which makes the stay even more enjoyable from the very first moment. The location is excellent, perfect for getting around easily and exploring the city without any hassle. In addition, the staff were very friendly at all times, always willing to help and make the experience as comfortable as possible. Another very notable point is the cleanliness: everything was spotless, very well organized, and carefully maintained, which is always greatly appreciated.

As for the negative aspects, there were several details that felt quite uncomfortable. The main issue was the design of the bathroom within the room. It was built at the back, with two access points (on the right and left), and in the middle there was a huge bathtub which, to get from one side to the other, you either had to jump over or walk all the way around the room. Showering was especially difficult, as you had to get into that bathtub and then get out however you could. On top of that, the shower hose was extremely short; if you were taller than 1.60 m, it was almost impossible to use it properly. In practice, it couldn’t really be used as a shower, and getting out of the bathtub was quite uncomfortable and even a bit dangerous. A senior person would definitely have had serious difficulties using it. On the other hand, something else that felt a bit odd was the way the bed was made. In our case, even though it was a double bed, it was prepared with individual bedding instead of large sheets and a single duvet. I’m not sure whether this is something typical in Poland or simply that they didn’t have larger covers, but in any case, it felt quite uncomfortable.
