Holiday Inn Leeds Brighouse by IHG

The hotel is set in nice grounds with good views and there is plenty of parking available.

It feels in certain parts that’s it’s dated and needs money spending on it to bring it up to scratch. Also, our room didn’t have any working heating which wasn’t great.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Excellent breakfast, kitchen staff very friendly and helpful. Good swimming pool.

When I booked half board, I didn’t expect half the evening menu to be unavailable! The steps from the car park need handrails on all flights.TV reception was poor

Everything was as expected at a Holiday Inn. Nice well equipped comfortable rooms and stylish public areas and bar. Good location near to transport links and good views of countryside. Nice outdoor courtyard with seating.

We attended an event taking place at the hotel and asked if early check in would be possible. On arrival the desk staff did their best to get our room ready quickly and we did get in early enough to prepare for the event. However the room did not have the balcony we were expecting for which a premium is paid. If I had known this I would have just booked a standard room. The balcony would have been an added extra which would have enhanced the night spent there. However the early check in was appreciated so on balance we had a good stay

Location of hotel is good as not far from motorway

My disabled room was very basic no fridge and the bathroom only had a bath with shower over. Would have thought a walk in shower for disabled would have been standard as I can't get leg over bath was unable to have a shower very disappointed.
