We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy either, but really, everything was perfect, so the cost was more than worth it. Highly recommended.

Excellent historic hotel. Beautiful interior. While the entire staff were friendly and professional, Anthony & Haley provided exceptional service. Thank you to all!

Staff friendly and nice atmosphere. Room very comfortable and clean . Hotel very intersting with lots of history. Restaurant on the expensive side .

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The staff were exceptionally friendly, from the servers in the restaurant to the groundskeeper. The staff was also very knowledgeable about the history of the location. Dinner and Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Holdsworth and would easily stay here again
