Carreg Bran

The location is convenient for access to Anglesey and North Wales. The hotel is a bit run down but the room was spotlesslyclean, the staff very helpful, friendly and professional and the restaurant was excellent.

We were there for four nights and did not have internet for any of our stay. The staff was aware of the problem (Internet was out throughout the hotel) and was working to fix the problem. We tried to get cell reception in the parking lot and were unsuccessful. We had planned to use Internet to organize our travel for each succeeding day so this was inconvenient. My husband also was depending on Internet or at least cell reception to keep in contact with his business. We asked for a partial refund but did not receive a response.

Good location for exploring the island. Good food and a pleasant bar and outside terrace. The sound of trains passing below the hotel en route for Holyhead.

All was very good
