Clayton Hotel, Leeds

Cleanliness, friendly staff, good sized room

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet.

Great location and relaxing atmosphere

The location was okay not far from the centre

For what we paid the room seemed very basic not enough lighting minimal furniture, very plain walls for the brand and name of hotel I expected better, they were stains on the carpet coming Out of the bathroom, hairs around the bathroom and old biscuit packets behind the TV, the cleaners didn't do a very good job overall not a nice experience, for the money it's disappointing. The girl who checked us out after we explained this offered free breakfast and coffee I thought this was nice and she was very professional although a partial refund on the room would have been a better option.
