Amaru Colonial

This is a quaint and comfortable property in the hills of San Blas. We had a nice view over the city and the mountains from our room. The breakfast staff were lovely , great choice for breakfast. Location was good, but it is in the hills. The climb back from Plaza des Armes on the first day proved to be a bit challenging as we adjusted to the elevation. Grateful for the easy access to Coca and Muna tea.

The rooms are only heated for a few hours in the evening so the rooms are cold especially in the mornings. Rooms are on the small side - difficult to find a spot for two med sized bags.

Sehr gute Lage, nettes Personal, Tee und Wasser stehen zur Verfügung. Leckeres Frühstück, schöne saubere Anlage, Koffer können während eines mehrtägigen Ausflugs dort deponiert werden.

Die Zimmergröße fanden wir recht eng Frühstückspaket zum Mitnehmen aufgrund sehr früher Abholung ist sehr spartanisch

Great location, everything is walking distance. Beautiful intimate hotel. Breakfast was good. Gorgeous view from the balcony, lovely staff.

Room was nice but small, would have loved a small table with 2 chairs.

We had a great stay at Amaru Colonial. The location was perfect, only a 5-10 minute walk into the central square of Cusco, and the staff were always very helpful. There were a couple of times when we needed somewhere to store our luggage, for example for our two day trip to Machu Picchu, and they were happy to store them for us. We stayed in a few different rooms throughout our trip to Peru and they were always clean and well stocked. Breakfast also provided everything you’d need.
