Very helpfull with everything. Location right in centre of Sandakan. Breakfast very simple but ok! Nice bunck beds. Simple but good!

Shower was not perfect but didnt bother us. It was clean.

The location, friendly staff ready to help with reservations and onward travel, the rooftop terrace and other common spaces for socialising.

The kitchen area could be better maintained, the bathrooms and toilets too. Quite inconvenient not to have a sink with running water in the kitchen itself!

Great hostel in the centre of sandakan , large room (twin room ) , comfy beds , the hostel is kept very clean in all areas . Staff were also friendly , along with the residents of sandakan . This is one of the friendliest places we have visited in sabah .

Would be good to have a mirror in the room.

We stayed in two rooms over 3 nights (we left the hostel for a night and came back). The first room was lovely with a wonderful sea view and a shower in the room, the breakfast of toast and jam was nice and the coffee was lovely. The location was ideal and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The second room we stayed in was street facing and there was music blaring for the whole day. We hadn’t had much sleep and unfortunately couldn’t get any sleep with the music.

Great hostel in Sandakan. Nice rooftop and convenient location close to lots of restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful with booking tours and providing lots of great information. Would stay again if we were passing through.

The toilets weren’t clean

WiFi works inside the rooms. There is hot water. They have very cute little terrace upstairs which has amazing views on the bay.

It's located on the main street, so at night it's quite noisy. This hostel is trying to have "character", but all those mottos, preachings and motivation BS from novice travellers on the walls look ridiculous and excessive . Paintings are not bad thought

Great location, central and easy to walk to everything in town. Good cafes and restaurants nearby. Simple breakfast included of toast and bananas, plus tea and coffee and filtered water. The rooms are clean and spacious and communal bathrooms were clean enough. The staff are super friendly and helpful and helped us arrange onward travels and our trip to Kinabatangan.

Great place to stay and meet other travellers and local people. Very Warm and welcoming Staff. Included breakfast is additional bonus.
