Johnny Dough's Conwy with Rooms

The location cannot be beat! The staff is lovely! The breakfast bag in the morning was a great touch.

It's not filthy but it's definitely not clean. It's more like tidy. Our room (3) smelled like there was water damage. The bathroom had a whole other unpleasant smell. The dust. The dust! The overhead light was not only missing a working lightbulb but was filthy with dust. After reading other reviews regarding dust you'd think they'd be more on top of it. The room, like I said, was tidy. It definitely needs a deep clean.

centre town location, great outlook, room clean with everything you need, surprise breakfast bag outside our door at 08:30.

the general staircase and stair carpet has seen better days and the large windows in our room were seized up so could not be opened for fresh air - there was a fan but that blew cold air out of its front but hot air out of its back. Parking in nearby official parks is expensive but there is limited free on-street parking if you hunt it out.

Great location, spacious, comfortable & clean. The views from room 6 were stunning! Great amenities.

Stairs only so not for people with mobility issues.

Property was located very close to car park. Long stay in town centre.

No working bathroom light or extractor fan Empty can of air freshener left in bathroom. TV remote. Not working. Shower rise and fall pole came away when I tried to lower shower head. This was in one room. Friends staying in a separate room had curtains hanging off rail with one or two hooks. They had to climb on a stool to drape curtains over the top of rail. This was a room that I had requested an upgrade on. A upgrade was supposed to have been allocated at no extra cost . Breakfast couldn’t be served until at least 8.30 , this was of no use to us but that was our choice. Did call owner who said he would request an earlier drop off. It’s left outside your door. No hot food.
