A gem of a place, beautiful garden and peaceful setting, lovely staff and manager, the cook was lovely, truly the best food we had in our entire trip, We would love to come again soon, it was simply amazing, 10/10!

Food was simple, clean and delicious. It was made to order and served in our room as it was very cold outside. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a craving for guava fruit. The owner and his family graciously included us in a magical, haunting ghazal performance by the fireside at night.

Service was excellent but the kitchen was slow and we ended up losing a lot of time in the morning.

Rooms in winter were a bit cave like but clean with pleasant furnishings.

Mandawa is an open air museum and Mandawa Kothi is an example of a tastefully renovated haveli. Mandawa Kothi is a very calming place where all staff are doing the utmost to make you feel happy and at home. They were also helpful in arranging tours and transport. Food was excellent and the room was very comfortable and well equipt.

I liked everything.

The hotel has a unique atmosphere, quiet, serene and elegant. Our rooms were spacious and well furnished. The pool is an agreeable natural and central space.

The menu was simple but it did the job. I wish I could have seen the other havelis, that the hotel has at its disposal in case of a large family traveling.

The service provided by the staff during the stay was very courteous. The property is located inside a village but don’t let the narrow lanes deceive you. It’s a small property but very clean and neat. The bed is basic because they maintain their heritage look but the bathrooms are modern and very well maintained. You can find old, beautiful prints hanging everywhere. Didn’t use the swimming pool so no comments about that.

Hospitality of the staff was excellent :) They could accomodate all of our requests with no additional charges. The food was fresh and the place was very hygienic. Must stay if your looking for some haveli vibes :)

I loved the town and open art gallery was fascinating. Atul, the hotel guy who showed me around was very passionate and knowledgeable. Piyush the boy who runs the place was a fabulous host. Food was good and simple. I look forward to a longer stay in the near future. Pool and sit out on terrace were heavenly

Our family of four felt at home the minute we stepped through the imposing medieval doors of Mandawa Kothi, a charming boutique hotel tucked away on a quiet street a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Mandawa city. After a tour of the available rooms we chose two airy doubles on the 1st floor with an adjoining terrace, which turned out to be perfect for a cup of tea and some quiet time the next morning. The rooms are spacious, spotless, thoughtfully appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Life at the haveli centres around the walled garden and pool section at the back of the property, we spent many happy hours here sipping beer and soaking in the sun. The staff ably led by Piyush and Atul leave no stone unturned to ensure guests are comfortable and happy - our every request from arranging a guided tour of the old city, to organising a camel ride for the kids, to trips for souvenir shopping was met with patience and a smile! Atul takes immense pride in Mandawa’s rich cultural history - this coupled with his knowledge and enthusiasm for the restoration works undertaken in the various haveli’s in and around Mandawa make him an able guide to the area. We had read good reviews of the food and the chef did not disappoint - he is accessible and obliging and truly gifted – we ate like kings! Masala omelettes, stuffed parathas washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice, luscious laal maas, delicately spiced palak paneer and a delectable moong daal halwa are among the highlights of our trip. Also not to be missed is evening tea on the top terrace of the haveli - watching the sun set over the ancient city is truly memorable. We were also fortunate to meet Raju ji, the hospitable owner of Mandawa Kothi whose discerning eye is behind the relaxed charm and authentic interiors of the haveli. His passion for history and heritage is evident in the painstaking restorations he undertook to restore of the haveli to its present glory.

Wonderful breakfast - fresh juices, fruits, and anything we wanted! Dinners are exceptional, with a drink before by the fireplace. The staff anticipates your every need but without being overwhelming (!).
