This place was everything it promised to me and more. Impeccably clean, very well appointed with special little details to make our stay even more enjoyable (a fabulous grill and tranquil patio, a great floorplan, an Alexa device for entertainment, and a perfect location - right in town!), we absolutely loved our cottage. This property is perfectly located in the heart of Ogunquit. We parked our car in the driveway the whole week and walked to the beach, Marginal Way, and Perkins Cove. The place is impeccably clean and fully stocked with everything you need inside and out. Sara, the owner was very friendly and responsive to any of our questions.

This was the first time I have rented a house for a-weeks vacation. We have been to Ogunquit several times but stayed in the various hotels/ motels. Ogunquit and surrounding towns of York, Wells, Kennebunkport and Old Orchard beach offer so much to see and do. This vacation home couldn’t be in a more perfect location. Traffic is the only negative about staying in this area, but this rental was within walking distance to everything. We only took our car out once to go to the supermarket! It is in the heart of all the action: restaurants, shopping, beach and Perkins Cove. Although these areas are generally hopping with people and activity our location was peaceful and quiet as it is in a neighborhood you would never know existed. It is literally tucked behind the famous Shore Road and access to the Marginal Way is a block away. The rental is immaculate and very cozy and comfortable. We wished we owned it and didn’t want to leave. It contained everything you would need. The beds were super comfortable as was the couch. The tv provided access to many channel options with You tube tv and Roku. The kitchen has updated appliances including a gas stove with oven. Plenty of pots and pan, very nice Crate and Barrel dishes and lots of wine glasses! The bathroom may be small but the walk in shower provided plenty of hot water plus there was a new outdoor shower. We had a very private back yard with new grill and picnic table and the flowers were gorgeous! We had private parking for two cars if needed! A bonus surprise was a laundry room! I was able to work at the kitchen table and had WiFi access. The air conditioner was a wall unit that kept the whole place at a very comfortable temperature. We were met by the owner who could not have been more welcoming. She checked in with us via a text to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She came to say goodby when unfortunately it was time for us to leave. She was so warm and friendly. I will definitely be returning to Ogunquit and this will the only place I would stay for a weeks rental. This rental is a hidden gem!

This is a very nicely-kept basement apartment with a beautiful yard to sit in. The host was a gem, greeting us, responding whenever I needed anything, and just generally being friendly and accommodating. The location is great, 5 mins to walk town, 15 mins to the beach.

This was our first time renting online. I was afraid that the place would not live up to how it was described on the site. We were thrilled to find that it was everything promised and more. The unit was in immaculate condition and had everything we needed or wanted. It was actually very cute and tastefully decorated. It was a very hot week, and the AC made it very comfortable, especially after returning from the beach, which really is walking distance. We also walked to some great restaurants and shops, and around Marginal Way to enjoy some spectacular views. Sara, the owner met us at checkin time and provided us with all the information we needed. She made us feel very welcome and gave us suggestions about where to eat and fun things to do in the area. I highly recommend this property. You will love it!

This was our third year at this wonderful place. It is conveniently located one block from the central part of town and within walking distance of Perkins Cove and beautiful Ogunquit beach. Sara has paid special attention to detail and you couldn’t possibly want for more. The kitchen is fully stocked for any meal preparation if that’s your choice and if not there are numerous restaurants aimed to please! Sara suggested several and we were not disappointed. The actual place is extremely clean and comfortable. We loved walking in after a long day at the beach and feeling the cool floor and air, heaven! There are so many ways Sara has provided ease for your stay...beach buggy to haul your chairs , bags etc., and a beach bag with items you may have forgotten. Outside we enjoyed coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening at the picnic table in the very quiet neighborhood. Most importantly the beds are very comfortable, we all slept better than at home! We highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed!

My family and I loved staying at Sara's place in Ogunquit. It was in a great location, in walking distance to the beach, which was especially helpful during the busy season. We could just park our car the whole time, use Sara's beach cart to bring everything to the beach, and not get stuck in all the traffic on Shore Rd and Rt 1. It is also a very quick walk to the Marginal Way and Perkins Cove - plus it's on a super quiet and beautiful street with friendly neighbors. The apartment is very clean, and supplied with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Sara is helpful and responsive whenever anything is needed, and she gave us ideas for fun things to do in the area, tailoring her suggestions to our crew, and thinking about what we would all enjoy. There is a lovely backyard where we enjoyed having morning coffee, food on the grill, and playing lawn games. I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend this place to my friends!

Had a great week at this interesting property. Owner has worked hard to create a really nice space and has thought of every convenience. It was a very HOT week in Ogunquit and this apartment was cool and comfortable. Really appreciated the owner's concern for us and will definitely come back.

What a lovely place Sara has created here! Inviting back yard to relax and enjoy our morning coffee or evening cocktails. Inside is charming and immaculate! The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet.The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook but there are so many places to eat within a ten minute walk! I highly recommend this place! Sara is very accommodating and truly cares about your visit, we'll definitely be back!

What a pleasant vacation our family of four (two older teenagers) had in Ogunquit while staying at Sara's apartment! The apartment provided the best of both worlds – it’s in a quiet neighborhood, yet it’s also centrally located, so we were able to walk to the Marginal Way (5 minutes to the entrance), the beach (in about 15 minutes - using the beach cart Sara provides), Perkins Cove (about a mile away), and the many great restaurants that Ogunquit offers. Although we didn't partake while there, it would be an easy walk to the Ogunquit Playhouse as well. The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Sara thought of and provided all the amenities one might need, from soap and laundry detergent to a well-stocked kitchen including even chip bag clips. We enjoyed watching some of the provided DVDs in the evening. The yard space is private and quiet – we could even hear the waves of the ocean one evening. We’d sit out there with our morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs or the outdoor folding chairs, and we had lunch at the picnic table. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing sand after a visit to the beach. Sara was a wonderful host! She made it a point to meet us, at our convenience, to ensure we had everything we needed, and was happy to answer our questions about area attractions. To our pleasant surprise, later that day we returned to the apartment to find an envelope Sara had taped to the outside door that contained information about one of the attractions we had discussed! We’d highly recommend Sara’s apartment.
