Comfy bed, decent size room.
The property was very good sadly access to the hotel was near impossible due to the road closure right outside of the Hotel. We tried to follow the diversion signs but they very confusing. In the end we walked to the hotel via the road closed. They gave us a map to enable us to drive through the lanes to get to the hotel. Reception staff at the hotel said we should have had a message from Booking.com with a map but we didn’t so not happy with booking.com. Very poor.

Excellent room, and food. Well situated. The spa area was clean.
Staff very hospitable.
The jacuzzi was empty in the spa and not working.

Truly enjoyed the garden of the hotel, the swimming pool, the balcony to my bedroom. Breakfast was great. The Bistrot 1936 was delicious.
Unfortunately the hotel is located by a loud road but not really anything can’t be done about it. Not the hotel responsibility. The pool and whirlpool are great but parents would let their children (even young one) in the whirlpool and it was truly unpleasant but again not really the hotel’s fault.
