The Grand Hotel

Everything.. perfectly situated, about 10 min walk from shops, right on the beach front. Highly recommend

The hotel was fantastic, huge and well kept. Very impressive atrium and entrance hall. The room was spacious and well appointed and everything was absolutely just as it should be for a premium hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and the decor and furnishings were lovely. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful as well. The indoor and outdoor pools are both large and heated and there is a full spa there with jacuzzi, gym and steam room as well. They provide dressing gowns, towels and even lent me a pair of swimming goggles as I had forgotten mine. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. There is on site parking but it does get full so arrive early and grab your spot, although there is on street parking nearby if needed. The reception staff were great and there is a concierge as well. Absolutely worth the money for a special get away.

Not a criticism at all, but given it's size, sometimes service was a little slow at busy times. But that's great as you don't want to rush your time there.

Food was excellent. Rooms were clean snd very comfortable.

Speed of food arriving could have been better. Waiting staff were polite and helpful.

The bed was very comfortable

The room was quite small. The bathroom had a smell of drains. The room was interconnected room and even though the door between rooms was locked we could see the neighbours light coming through the door and could hear their tv and voices very clearly.
