Absolutely loved the property. Was a total surprise, booked it hours before arrival so had no expectations. Rooms were gorgeous aesthetically and well designed considered. Staff were all friendly and accomodating.
I would have loved option to type my own message back to the property on their typewriters provided.
Check in could have been quicker without the long wait. The step in the bedroom creating a split level could be dire. My husband stumbled and fell forwards towards glass door. Unnecessary design detail which is the only criticism of otherwise stunningly beautiful and comfortable rooms.

Das Frühstück war gut, ebenfalls die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant. Das Zimmer ist mit schönen Materialien ausgerüstet. Der Blick vom Balkon zum Matterhorn.
Das Zimmer hat leider keinen Tisch. Die Ablagefläche im Bad ist winzig und die Dusche überläuft ständig.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was yummy, the room was pretty and clean, just a short walk from Zermatt Station.

stylish of the hotel overall; can see Matthehorn in the room i booked. room is clean and good enough to stay 3 adults.
Quite a lot of staff are heavy smokers. You can always see they smoke in the yard during working hours. Breakfast is very limited choice; the spa room that the steam room can barely accommodate 3 people. Most importantly, usual hotel in Zermatt offers shuttle pickup from the station. This hotel dont have such service however, the way to the hotel is not 8 mins flat walk. instead it is about 15 mins walk which requires you to cross the railway, uphill, downhill. So think twice before you book.
