Full of character and history, homely feel, breakfasts were amazing
Nothing at all

The bedroom was delightful and we welcomed the little touches of a chocolate each day and daily replenishment of the chilled water. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spotless with soft towels.
The stairs were steep but we knew about that before we visited.
There was a slight problem with water pressure in the mornings.
For me the lilies in the honesty bar were a problem as I am allergic. I spent the three days hoping that the lilies in the breakfast room would not come into flower - perhaps an allergy alert for asthmatics could be included in hotel details.

Excellent Room and building, breakfast was great and the Honesty Bar worked well
Bathroom was a little small, but big enough for a short stay [must remember to book a bath if you want one].

Very convenient to all attractions and a beautiful old house
Our room was at the top of a very steep staircase but we expected that could be the case

"Wunderschöner Frühstücksraum und sehr gutes Frühstück. Der große Erker mit dem Panoramafenster über Rye und in die Ferne in der Nachmittags und Abendsonne in unserer Suite war traumhaft."
