The toilet seat was broken

The Laurel room was very spacious and had a lovely view. The restaurant staff was amazing - a particular shout out to Mohammed.

The bed was not particularly comfortable - not uncomfortable, just felt more like sturdy hammock or. The bed could either use a box spring or the mattress should be replaced.

Friendly , beautiful out look over their vast gardens . Stayed many times .

The hotel itself is very nice but due to a wedding taking place, getting a night's sleep before 23.45 was impossible. Our room was over the lounge and the music was blasting out, so I went down to ask for it to be turned down, but the reply was "there is a wedding on, what do you want me to do?. As a paying guest, I expect to informed if there was to be a wedding on which could affect my sleep, as many other hotels do, allowing you to cancel the booking if you are not happy. I very much wanted to like this hotel, as it is very close to the relatives we were visiting and wanted to make it a regular stay, but not sure now.

The music was started again at 06.45 am in the hotel, and once again it was loud in our room. When we went to breakfast, we had to ask for the volume to be reduced, as we couldn't hear our friends talking. Why do hotels think that loud music is always required.
