Arrived at the Guest house and greeted and given keys. The Guest house is very close to the bus stop that drops you straight into South or North terminal (6 mins), Also walking distance to charming old pub/restaurant. Very clean and fresh. Shower room was amazing and wonderful shower. Had tea/coffee facilities. Left car for duration of stay (extra cost), and on arriving back, host was waiting and very friendly. Car had been moved back to front of house making it very easy to get on the road without any delay.
Had two flights of stairs and room was at back of house. No lift as far as aware, I had reserved a twin room but received a family room and so had room with sloping ceilings, and think the single beds might have been slightly smaller - sister is 5'10 so she felt she also had to watch her head. Sister has asthma and so she felt the air freshener was quite strong in the hallway but it was fine after turning it off.

Nice and close to the airport and station making it easy to walk to right after a long travel day! Only about a 35 min ride into the city. Let us drop our bags off in the room early
The beds were a little hard and firm

Great location for early flights from Gatwick
Close to train station
Quiet
Big en suite bathroom
Coffee/tea making facilities
Easy check-in
I found the bed really uncomfortable - this is so subjective as I can see other people have reviewed the beds as comfy. For me, it was too hard and I barely slept - so didn't get any benefit from staying closer to the airport.
