Didn’t have a dryer

2 bathrooms were amazing for a group of friends !! beds were comfortable, rooms spacious :-) the whole house is hugeeee and heaters worked well. we were lucky to always be able to find street parking lots near the apartment !! host was responsive as well and replied fast 😊

- toilet downstairs was abit too dark, could use with more light - the kitchen had a smell but we countered it by opening the back door to ventilate well :-) - the kitchen floor had water pooling under the tiles next to the dustbin and we guess thats where the smell might be coming from but all of these could be easily overlooked :D

It was well situated and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. A good washing machine and yard for drying clothes.

This property needs a lot of attention. Damp in the kitchen cupboards which made them smell. Damp in the upstairs bathroom and in need of a facelift. A dripping hot water tank which we put a bucket under. It wasn’t very clean. Cutlery a mess. The stairs were dangerous. I hate writing a bad review but this property should not be on Booking.com until it’s had a renovation! Nothing like the photos.

It's a functional large 2 floor house, but not cosy defenetly not like home. The second floor with the 2 bedrooms is o.k. The first floor was smelly and run down. We tried to avoid being there.

Everything. The location, cleanliness, space. Everything.

We loved it. The house was beautifully decorated. Really clean and comfortable with lots of outdoor space. The owner left lots of toilet paper, towels (really fluffy), coffee, tea etc. We would absolutely recommend this holiday let and we will definitely go back. Excellent.

Everything was perfect, exceptional space. Great kitchen, great rooms (excellent beds), and a wonderful terrace.

Given that there are lots of big cockroaches (7-10 cm length) and other pests in the islands, it is difficult to recommend to stay directly in apartments because a typical tourist can not know exactly on how the owners solve this eternal problem of living in this part of Portugal and getting rid of the insects. Fortunately, this problem has been more or less solved by the owners in this apartment, except getting rid of some kinds of small ants in the hallway towards the kitchen. Thats's why the tourist are not recommended to leave the luggage on the first floor of the building. Concerning the apartment's equipment, everything is OK and clean. However, definitely not all of it has been used in view of a short stay. Be aware, it is prohobited to park you car for free in this part of the street from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the nearest free parking is in 10-15 min. In view of extremely narrow sidewalks in most of Azorean towns, it may be not very easy to roll your bags down the streets to the parking in very humid and hot weather that is typical to the islands.

It is very humid everywhere inside the building even in early autumn. It is difficult to imagine how humidity can be high in winter, i.e., in the wettest and most rainy season on the islands.
