It is a basic bungalow very close to the airport and has got nice sea views. It is also very close to blue hole. They also arrange for the tours to volcano, blue hole and others.

We booked it for 3 days but stayed just for one night. It is a very basic bungalow for the price you are paying in Tanna Island. The room was smelly and the beds are not even comfortable, feels like it's pulling you to the center. The bathroom is not fully closed till the top and is adjacent to bedroom which created more smell.

Bedrooms are in small cabins with sea views. Facilities are fairly simple, but comfortable. There are en-suite bathrooms with running water, electricity and electric fans. The place is run by a lovely family, who are very helpful in arranging local tours. The food is good, provided by prior agreement, so any specific wishes need to be discussed in advance.

It was all good - just remember that this is a fairly simple place on a fairly remote island.

Beautiful location with some incredible snorkelling right out the back at the blue hole! It was lovely to eat breakfast overlooking the sparkling ocean. The included breakfast of bread and tea was very tasty. There was only 1 option available for dinner each of the nights we stayed, but these meals were delicious!! We accidentally left a bag in our room on checkout, and Margaret was kind enough to help to arrange some departing guests to fly it back so we could meet them at the airport, which was very kind.

It was sometimes hard to find someone to ask questions or try to make plans, but everything we did plan (volcano tour and airport transfers) happened without a hitch. Unfortunately we had to walk to the nearby resort for a few drinks as there was no beer or coffee available when we tried to order (this was no issue, but would have been great to keep the money at Rocky Ridge). Rooms were basic and bed wasn't the most comfortable, but they were exactly as described at had everything you needed. There were cats there when we stayed (unsure if wild or pets) so be prepared to keep swatting them away from your food!

Rocky Ridge is a great place to stay for your visit to Tanna. Tom was a great host and offered really affordable tours to the Volcano and traditional villages. We loved the easy access to Blue Hole 2 and spent lots of mornings and afternoons exploring the beautiful reefs.

There were some stains on our bed sheets but at the end of the day it was clean just seemed like stubborn stains.

The location is amazing with the best snorkeling in blue hole #2 right out the front of the property. Tom's family are keen to host well and share the responsibility despite being busy with their own lives. The views are amazing. The food portions are generous and more than adequate. Best to think of it as being invited over to someone's house for dinner with one option, rather than ordering off a menu.

The least desirable aspect of our stay was the mattress. Best described as an outer spring mattress - no foam. It is also cool on Tanna and we found the one blanket inadequate. One has to consider that the accommodation here is budget, and we chose to stay here for the location and simplicity of it. It certainly slowed us down in a good way, but a comfortable night sleep would have made all the difference. I would stay there again, but pack a comfy hike mattress again. Not sure if I could convince my wife, who is the lighter sleeper out of us.

Location was great 5 min drive from airport, next to white grass resort. Owned and run by ni vsnuatu native people unlike other resorts. You are able to arrange all tours easily from there, in fact owner drives you to each and around. Room had air con, good flush toilet and bed was comfy. Seemed clean too. Food was really good but mostly got told what was for dinner for all, rather than choosing off menu. This was similar at wgitegrass though.

You need to pay in cash! Card not accepted for accomodation and tours, and was only 1 ATM a long drive away in town. Food options were limited, it's difficult to get produce particularly after cyclones so not all on menu was available. Room was good but central room light didn't work. Told owner Tom so hopefully will be fixed.

Very nice location with great wiev over the reef and ocean. The owners are very nice and very helpfull, they will assist you in all ways. Highly recoment this place for its small and cosy family run getaway.

Good breakfast. Big portions and excellent coffee. Locally owned and run, much nicer to know money going to locals rather than rich immigrants in the resorts. Tom and Margaret were very relaxed helpful and Friendly. Tom Drove a few of us to the Tanna Volcano and back.

Rocky Ridge provides a lovely, rustic and authentic bungalow experience. Clarence and Tom were very welcoming during our stay. Tom’s blue hole which is situated right out the back of the property was hands down our favourite thing to do in Tanna! Thanks again, Ed and Katie
