Everything in the apartment was good except the heater that wasn't functioning properly

Great central location not walking distance to much but about 15 to 20 min drive gets you to most places in Edmonton Very new unit Very clean As it is very new everything is in very good condition Some things in the kitchen had not even been used Well stocked kitchen if you plan on cooking for yourself it has most things you need

I stayed in the 1 bedroom basement suite at this house Its confusing looking at this place on Booking.com as it appears as the whole house Also there are 2 basement suites so you have neighbors beside you and above you Most of the time it was reasonable but you do hear quite a bit from the other units The worst was people using the small seating area at the back of the house outside the entrance to the basement suite People talking out there can be heard word for word in the basement suite Windows in the bedroom are frosted but no curtains or blinds Very bright in the morning. Parking is only on the street I personally feel if your paying to stay somewhere there should be a designated parking spot Every time I returned to the property I had to park in a different place on the street and the spots directly in front of the property were usually full

Set up is great for a family stay. We were traveling with young children and there was a high chair which was so handy. Very clean. We loved the big bathtub.

Very nice, spacey and comfortable place. Everything we needed was available, including a nice entertainment collection and great bathrooms.

the main reason for the mediocre rating was that it was unbearable hot in the house and with no AC nor overhead fans in the bedrooms we could not sleep for two of the four nights. the stand dans were too low and not in good shape, nor providing enough ventilation it was 85degrees through the nights

This location was perfect for us. Close to West Edmonton Mall and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Very comfortable beds. Amazing deck and nice backyard

The property itself was nicely furnished.

The parking was non existent, yes there was street parking but minimal, and yes there was a garage, but we have a pick up and it's a small garage. We mostly ended up parking on the next street over and walking to the house. When we got there, there was no toilet paper, tissue paper or paper towel or napkins. Before the trip began, I messaged the property and confirmed that if we checked out early, we could not receive a refund BUT they would refund me 50% of the days I didn't end up staying. We are there for personal sensitive reasons and didn't end up needing the room as long as we thought, when I vacated the room I messaged the property, asked them what I needed to do to get the refund ,, they told me I had to contact Bookings due to the fact that the property cannot modify the booking on their end. so I contacted bookings that day, they told me they had emailed the property to confirm that I was eligible for the refund and the property had not responded. They then told me they would try again in 24 hrs of no response.. I then messaged the property to let them know that bookings was trying to contact them. 2 days later on the day I was actually supposed to checkout I then messaged Bookings again, they then called the property and bookings said the property had refused., When I messaged the property they said they couldnt refund it because I hadn't contacted bookings, I advised that I had , and that bookings had told me that the property hadn't messaged back, So the property won't do the refund, because they claim bookings didn't contact them, bookings is saying that they did contact them with no response. I get that I checked out early, but if you didn't want to do the small refund of the days I wasn't there for then don't tell your customers that you do. And I clarified with the property twice, I had also let them know a few days before and that day that we were leaving.
