Lovely location and nice clean rooms. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The tables in the dining room were far too close together.

We are both in our mid 70's and were located on the 3rd floor in the building opposite the main hotel. Not sure how we ended up there but it felt quite isolated and did not have the feeling of the main hotel where our daughter stayed. I guess we just have to accept that but it would be nice if there was some representation in the building across the road - even if for a few hours a day. However we were severely inconvenienced by the lift breaking down resulting in us having to walk 3 flights of stairs which was quite difficult for us. Things happen but there was a distinct lack of feedback regarding the lift repair which still had not occurred by the time we left. We had to be proactive regarding repair progress resulting in one of the staff saying we could move to a ground floor room . This happened on the last day and far to much mucking around to do. We feel that the over paid for a room that did not have a functioning lift to use. There also was a water issue but we amended our plans to ensure it did not impact us - nevertheless we were still inconvenienced.
