Il Magnifico Firenze

It's a great place located in an historical site of the city ( piazza della liberta) - about 20 m. walk from.centre - Rooms are at top floor of an old 19th c. building with interior design perfectly in keeping with the style of the house Bathroom is spacious and generally there is a minibar inside the room Esmeralda, the owner, is extraordinarily kind and generous She made me find the fridge filled with soft drinks for free plus a little bag of "cantuccini" ( typical tuscan almond biscuits ) and a voucher x a small breakfast at the nearby cafeteria I can only be grateful to her letting me have such a pleasant stay Looking forward to return

The elevator is the slowest ever seen...! but then again, even that is part of the charm of that place....

The property was as described and well located. Although we never got to meet Esmeralda, she was always available via WhatsApp and very informative. She left clear instructions for a late night self check-in.

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Il Magnifico Firenze. The accommodation is warm and cozy. Rooms are spacious and cleans, beds are super comfortable and towels smell lavender. Location is really good, peaceful but still close to the city centre plus there is a tram line just few steps outside the door. Esmeralda is super friendly and welcoming, she gave us a lot of information regarding places to visit and eat. We definitely recommend this place

Perfectly located, in a safe neighbourhood very close to historical landmarks. Cozy, quite spacious for Europe, clean, AC works, good ventilation. Extremely friendly and professional staff.

As most of properties in Florence - very old.
