Hotel Abest Happo Aldea

SUPER-FRIENDLY & helpful staff (both Japanese & Aussie); Superb Onsen/Sauna facilities - a must post-skiing! Satisfying skiers brekkie included in our room rate; Convenient/warm ski locker room (with easy pickup & return of ski-hire to Rhythm Wadano). Walkable/skiable to closest chairlift, but morning shuttle service also provided along with evening shuttle to Happo One/Echoland areas for dinner. Thanks so much guys - we really enjoyed our stay with you.

Nothing: The facilities & service we received aligned with our expectation, the star rating and price we paid for 10 nights in Hakuba during February.

The Onsen and the staff were excellent ! The daily pow helped a lot also :-)

Price was quite high and it would be nice if the hotel shuttles could drive to some resorts other than nearby Happo.

Perfect location and close to sakka lift chair. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Very easy to communicate with the staff as they speak good English. Onsen is a little too small but we enjoyed it.

Would be better to have 2 pillows instead of 1. Our room is close to the kitchen and we could smell food in our room all the time. Room and bathroom need a better air freshener.

had an amazing time! stayed last year closer to the centre & was concerned this was a bit further away but turned out it was even more convenient with the ski shuttles and night buses - shuttle buses stopped right outside hotel! hotel shuttle went back and forth to sakka lift so that with the ski shuttles picking up outside the hotel, it was very convenient access to all the resorts. the hotel staff were amazing, the hotel had all the essentials including a good breakfast plus they had an amazing indoor/outdoor onsen. a lovely lounge and bar area for sitting around the fire - in house menu good for both food and drink. laundry and drying room available, and we also did an amazing day out on the snow monkey tour, with hotel drop off and pick ups. overall highly recommend this hotel - had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back next year. hotel staff were amazing and so very helpful!!

rooms were basic without cupboards for storage but expected that in both a ski lodge and in japan
