The property was in a great location, walkable to major tourist attractions, restaurants and pubs. The breakfast was delicious and the host, Nickolas was great and went beyond what was expected to make our stay enjoyable. He even helped retrieve my cellphone that was lost. The bed was comfortable and parking was available. The stay was very satisfying.
My party was on the 3rd floor, which is actually the 4th level, so there was a lot of stairs to climb when bringing. up the luggage on our first day, but it’s part of the charm of a old house.

Manager and staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a sit down chat on arrival with Nick which explained house rules and routines. This was very helpful and environmentally friendly! Also provided us with a paper tourist map which was useful and handy if phone charge was low.
Bathroom fixtures were dated and tricky to operate, especially shower!

I was on the top floor many flights. I found it difficult taking and bringing my luggage down.

I suppose the location was good being close to the city centre
The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very low with no extra pillows to double up. Also not recommended if you have heavy luggage as room could be 3 flights of narrow stairs high
