The location is great, 8 min walk to dock and 14 min to city centre. Lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs are around. Quiet at night to have a nice sleep. The room is decorated in Nostalgia styles. Facilities are a bit old, but all work well. The owner is very friendly to accommodate our schedule to check in and out and responds to messages quickly.
The bed in the small room is not long enough for a tall person and has crack sounds. Carpet needs more cleaning.

Great views, close to everything, comfortable bed.

Everything, very happy with location, style, comfort, etc, etc.
Not a dislike, more a minor maintenance issue to make the owner aware of, the bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly, needs to be unblocked.

"This hotel has wonderful historical significance, originally built in 1856 and opened as the third pub in Battery Point. Designed in Georgian arictectural style, beautifully well kept.
