It was a beautiful room and very lovely staff

Just the location being across from the emergency department and noises

Nice, modern and clean

Noisy ambulances every now and then

Loved the location for the things we wanted to do - its not picturesque by any means and a very unremarkable part of the city but it was close to walk to the marina, close to Lark, close to walk to Salamanca markets, close to the mall and fast and easy part of the city to drive to and out from. We walked to most places within the city which was really handy at night going from whisky tasting to dinner etc. The Hotel was clean, well equipped, all the things you want from a good 4 star hotel, wish we had taken advantage of the gym and pool. The restaurant always had delicious deals and was a nice spot if you want to stay in. Staff were very polite and gave us a floor upgrade when we arrived.

It would have been good to make clear that there is offsite parking up the hill - after a couple of days of driving to the public parking (shared with the ambulance/ health centre) and back, it became irritating but grateful there was somewhere to park as that part of the city doesn't have street parking. However, not good for accessibility if you're expecting to load / off load your bags, park and be done with your day. Our shower was not draining well, and our room was near the elevator shaft so we kept hearing clanking sounds and noises in our room. If you are noise sensitive, this didn't allow for a relaxing retreat from the day / sleep. Feedback was provided to staff.

The location of the hotel was very nice and central; good walking distance from city center and all the main central sights in Hobart. The room was well furnished, cosy and very comfortable. Woolsworth is very close by. Kitchen staff was very kind and helped warm milk for my kid happily. Rami from the front desk team at the reception was exceptionally courteous and helpful - he really supported us through medical assistance and thereafter; kudos to him for going over and beyond for the hotel customers.

The hotel staff and service was quite poor; no sense of warmth or customer service at all. The front desk staff and how they engaged with their customers was consistently quite sad. They rarely came across as friendly or helpful - specially disappointing for the price we paid and expected basic courtesy and service. We were 3 guests in a room; and daily we had to go down to grab a third towel.
