Lakeview room with dinner and breakfast.
One of my family’s single room ( Mountain View) compare with other rooms, it looks like a college dorm room.

Good location, room is spacious, lake view is stunning, firework at night is spectacular.
Premises is too old; railings in the balcony of my Lakeview room is rusty; room doesn't smell fresh & have to open balcony door for fresh air.

Stunning view of Toya lake. Room was big and clean. Free parking available onsite.
Too cold in the room. Took very long time for heater to warm up the room temperature. Staff at breakfast could not speak English. No English name of hotel in front of hotel, took very long time to find the hotel when we drove by.

Very very surprise for the room. Thank for the staff arrange us a good lake view room. And the out door Onsen is so nice. From the hotel go out behind is the Toya Lake. They view is very very very nice. And the price is very very cheap for the Hotel which have Onsen and lake view.

The air conditioner does not work well, and when it is snowy, it will be very cold .

The onsen was excellent. And the hours it was open were superb considering how early everything else closes in Japan.
In five days, we never found a staff member who spoke English beyond a few words, making communication very difficult.
The need to make reservations for breakfast a day in advance was puzzling as it was a simple buffet and the room was nearly empty most of the time.
The covers of the beds were too short: I had to choose between covering my feet or my shoulders (and I'm only 5'9").

Heating is poor, poor hotel services, no hair dryer, no English in the hotel, lack of electric plug, toilet boat leaking, duvet is too short

The room with the picturistic view of Lake Toya. Japanese style arrangement offers a great sense of authenticity.
The dinner and breakfast were delicious and delicately prepared.
The room was not very warm.

hotel is clean and the lake view rooms come with a small balcony. bed is comfortable.
most hotel staff do not speak English and it’s very hard for communication. we were lucky to have bump into a mandarin speaking staff and we got most of the information we needed. it is very very hard to communicate with the other staff. they would just say sorry no speak English and went silent. there are some restaurants about 10-15mins walk away during winter. better bring anti slip for your shoes or you might slip and fall as there are many slope around the hotel.

Room floor area is big compare to others hotel i have stayed.
Breakfast buffet has varieties and is value for money.
Only two white ceiling lights in the room not bright enough for the whole room.
No site table light to dim the light at night.
Poor sound prove on the glass windows. I could hear loud heavy vehicles passed by at night as my room was road facing.

view and location is amazing
blanket smells. at first night i thought the smell of the blanket is odd and reminded me of my dog back home in sydney but i ignored it. then i realise later on that the hotel is Pet friendly…
which means… my blanket was not cleaned well 🙃 the only sad thing i can say about my stay.

good location, beside lake Tokyo. Balcony overlooking the lake was awesome
Bit old, might need some maintenance. No drinking water provided in the room.

The views of the lake from the room were sensational. Breakfast was very good value for money. The staff were very polite and friendly. The guy serving breakfast provided great service. There was free bicycle rental. A firework display occurred every night. The hotel had a good onsen.
Rooms were not very well soundproofed as it's an older building and we heard a lot of noise from our neighbours.

The room and facilities were very clean and had a perfect view of Lake Toya. You cannot ask for a better view. You can also enjoy the nightly fireworks from your room balcony. The onsen was also quite nice.
It would have been nice to have more power points and at least one power point near the beds. You cannot charge your phone while lying on the bed.

This property is away from JR Toya station but right on Lake Toya. Thus, location makes it brilliant place & you have donan public bus service to take you at a bus stop near.
I stayed in a room with lake view and even had seagulls visited my balcony.
Room was nice and clean. Had all required amenities plus hotel has a free parking area. Staffs are very cordial and helpful making your overall experience better.
You have combini etc. at walking distance.
