This is a large, excellently situated hotel very close to Namba station and in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife. In spite of this it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. One of them was particularly helpful with our luggage transfer. We had a family room which was very spacious by Japanese standards. The décor is a bit old fashioned - gold and marble - but it’s in great condition, no complaints at all about that. The beds were comfortable and there was powerful A/C in the room. The bath and shower in our room were spacious and very nice to use. The whole hotel was very clean. The Sake tasting tickets were good. Breakfast buffet is available but is over ¥2000 per person - we got breakfast at nearby bakeries instead.

My only slight negative is that the lobby smelt slightly of cigarette smoke, there might be a smoking room down there. The floor plan showed that most of the rooms were nowhere near as big as the family room we booked, which had 3 beds and a sofa bed and gave us tons of space.

Convenience stores and eating places are nearby. Lots of shops Train station is not too far away

There is no drop off point in front of the hotel One of my family members could not walk very far and had difficulty walking from the main road to the hotel

Close to many attractions and subway/train stations. Offers good breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly. The housekeeper makes our room as clean and neat as it can be.

The sofa bed needs an update. Has lose it’s form as a bed. The carpet as well needs to be cleaned or changed out, is not clean, has stains.

Quick cleaning services.

Better quality tooth brush and provision of body lotion. No upgrade to a better room even though booking is for 12 nights (7 + 5 nights).
