Front desk staff lied to us.
I booked and paid for a Junior Suite room. When we arrived, front desk staff asked for my ID. Told her my last name and that my booking is a Junior Suite room. She acknowledged and looked for the booking in their system. When she found it, she accompanied us outside the main lobby area. When I asked where we are going, she said the room was in another building. And so we headed to the other building. She led us to our room and then left. After a while, I checked pictures in my booking and doubted that we are in the right room. I called the front desk (very low signal in the area) and asked if where she put us was the Junior Suite room that I paid for. She said ‘Yes Sir.’ Then I told her, this is not a Junior Suite. The Junior Suite in my booking is a 45sqm room size with king bed, sofa, dining table, mini bar, balcony/viewdeck. Where we are is a small room, about 18sqm size, with queen bed and nothing else. TV was not working. Very bad WIFI/internet signal. With noisy Koreans in the other rooms. And then she admitted, Ahh Sir we ‘upgraded’ you to a Villa so you could be more comfortable. I told her it was not comfortable at all. Small room with small bed and nothing else plus the noisy Koreans in the adjacent rooms. I searched in their booking system that it was a shared villa. Since phone signal is very bad, I stepped outside the villa and walked my way to the front desk. I confronted the lady and asked what happened. She then admitted that the aircon in the real Junior Suite was not working so she put us in another room. The suite was just actually located on the 3rd floor of the same building where the front desk is located. She could have been honest upfront and told us the real situation instead of lying and pretending that where she put us was the suite that I paid for.
I demanded a refund but there was no manager on duty.
Night time came, water supply in the room was very low.

clean and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. They will greet you everytime they see you. accessible to restaurants and convenience store
The electric kettle isn’t working.
You need to walk to the other building (You will walk on the road not just inside lee boutique) to use the pool which I thought is accessible to the room. The pool was close and you need to wait for them to call the staff to open it for you which took almost an hour of waiting plus we felt a little awkward about it coz it’s like telling them to set up the pool just for the 2 of us so we cancelled. Bathtub drainage stopper is broken. You need to call them after every use to drain the tub manually.
After eating dinner outside we went back to the hotel then our key card isn’t working so we need to call them AGAIN to open it manually. Too much hassle.

I feel like I was in a different timezone while staying at Lee Boutique Hotel. Apart from that, the villa has a European vibe which made us feel like we were in a different country too.
Limited access to WiFi.

Outside facilities - a lot of places to chill
Attitude of some of the staff - the evening before the dive trip to Apo island we realised that there would be a lot more people on board than we had agreed (4), including additional people from other hotels, so our individual programme would have changed without prior notice. Fortunately, we had not paid anything yet, so we were able to cancel the trip.
The room was very small and much more basic than it looked in the photos. There was no place to put things in the bathroom and no towel to step on after a shower.

I like the place looks so homey. And the receptionist gave us a free upgrade.
The property maybe didn’t advice other guests not to make too much noise especially after midnight. because there were group of adults walking and shouting in other rooms and they were really disturbing the other guests. Also no hot water during our stay.

It was a last minute booking. They generously gave us a free upgrade. Clean room and comfortable bed. Peace and quiet. With complimentary coffee and tea.
The wifi provider had downtime during our stay. There was also no network coverage in our room. Forgot to issue a receipt.

To be honest, not much. The staff were polite and helpful - This was the inly good thing about the property.
We had places where the water was dripping in the room. Parking was a problem. Since it rained heavily we got wet going from the car to the hotel several times. There are no facilities except a pool (in a different building) and breakfast (made by the staff in a pantry). The rooms are small and not the most comfortable.

The staff are very accommodating and indeed very friendly with their guests.
The hotel seems to be unprepared. Our family stayed in the family room and during the night of the typhoon, a lot of water coming out from the ceiling and it was very inconvenient on our part as a guest. The room became messy and slippery.
An emergency light has to be installed in every rooms especially if the hotel has no generator. Parking is also limited so you have to be at the premises all the time or else you will end up parking your car elsewhere.
