Surfers Beach Holiday Apartments

Very friendly management couldn't do enough to help our needs. Clean pool and surrounds.

Great location, secure and easy walking distance to the beach, convenient stores and food outlets. Nice pool, and spa area with good BBQ facilities which we used. Friendly and accommodating hosts who allowed us earlier access to the unit on arrival. Comfortable beds, good AC, full sized kitchen with well stocked cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, toaster(s), jug, full sized fridge and freezer, washer and dryer to help make our holiday stay comfortable.

With the tiles and sheltered location the unit at times was sometimes cold. We did use the heating which worked well. The wifi does not work in the bedrooms, front loading washing machine leaks when working.

It was clean and quiet and the management were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. Close access to the beach and a gorgeous pool right outside our balcony - beautiful place to stay - we will be back. Thank you Doug and Celia

The pressure in the ensuite shower was dismal, though the kids reported the main bathroom was a great shower and they were super impressed. The washing machine leaked right out of the door - but we reported that to management and they seemed unaware of the problem and keen to chase up the issue

Room was big and clean

I didn't realize there were stairs and we were on the 3rd floor. This was very difficult for my client, and for managing luggage. The owner attempted to get us a lower floor but none were available. In addition, he was working on updates and renovations to the building so we had to deal with the very strong smell of carpet glue for a few days. He also had pest control come into the rooms. I was advised so I expected it, but they were pushy and I found them to be somewhat rude. At least they were quick. The microwave and washing machine were past their prime, but that is to be expected at times. The hot tub was the same temp as the pool, and it didn't work while we were out there. I know the ownership is changing hands so I expect it will improve, and the owner was trying to be as helpful as possible.
