Hotel Virxe da Cerca by Pousadas de Compostela

The room was beautiful in a section the hotel that dates back to the 17th century and we had a fantastic view of the garden from our 2nd floor balcony. The location of the hotel is close enough to be able walk to The Mercado Abastos, the Praza do Obradoiro and of course the Cathedral. Many restaurants are also within walking distance. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel on our final morning looking out on the garden area. The entire staff was very professional and welcoming making our stay exceptional in every way.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, direkt an der Altstadt. Der Garten ist auch wunderschön. Der mittelalterliche rustikale Stil passt sehr gut in den gesamten Kontext der Stadt. Parken war auch kein Problem, da direkt neben dem Hotel ein Parkhaus ist.

Man kann nicht direkt vor dem Hotel parken, um Koffer auszuladen, muss also gleich ins Parkhaus fahren. Diese Info wäre vorab hilfreich gewesen.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel , beds are not comfy , bed linens where old and had some rips, our room wasn’t clean , it looked just old and not taken care of , only 2 staff members where nice , the rest specially the guy at the cafe/bar at night had an attitude , just bad overall, Breakfast was good , and the girls at breakfast where super attentive and nice But overall , this hotel front deserve 4 stars
