Really lovely little boutique hotel. Rooms are a really good size and had everything we needed. Liked the fact there is a little seating area outside the door. Worked well for us when my son was settling to sleep. The pool area is great. Nice mix of seating and really well maintained.

Excellent location, very central but still quiet. We were able to walk from the hotel to see all the central sights and were close to great restaurants. The room and bathroom was large and spacious.

The wifi didn't work well (or at all) in our room.

Loved everything about this hotel. An oasis in the middle of Merida. Great location- right on a square with delicious restaurants. Lovely pool which is like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Our room (which was in the main building) was wonderfully decorated and felt like we were in a traditional villa. We also had a lovely traditional green marble bathroom, with lovely toiletries provided including bath salts. The house keeping team also deserve a special shout out- we can back to our room to find an elephant of made towels on the bed! Also, don’t be put off by the downtown location- although the street outside was bustling, we couldn’t hear a thing!

hot water issues first night

Location was good, right in the middle of Merida. The hotel also has a resident cat, very cuddly.

This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. As we got to the airport, they were supposed to arrange a transfer for us which was done very clumsily and the driver was late. It also costed 3 times the rate of a standard taxi, which are actually quite easy to use. As we arrive at the hotel after a full day of travel, imagine walking into your room where the bathroom has not been cleaned. There was hair in the sink, a mop of hair in the shower drain and the bin had not been emptied. We ask the man at reception to come and see immediately, but he did not speak English so we were barely able to communicate, there was no one to around that would be able to clean up, and there were no other rooms. Also, we booked a room with a large double beds, and we were given a room with two beds. The following morning, understandably pissed off considering we were paying 120 dollars per night, we ask for our room to be cleaned/changed immediately, and the girl at reception proceeded to begrudgingly accomodate our requests and say they would send some wine to apologise. We don't really drink so we just wanted the first night to be refunded given the experience we had, and she advised we would have to request the refund through Booking. We ended up requesting the refund for the first night after our stay and the hotel has refused to collaborate. We also got in touch with Booking who tried to retrieve the money on our behalf with no luck, despite the hotel verbally agreeing to it. Also the pool area was always dirty, full of drinks, plates, and used towels left everywhere way after the pool had closed. Side note, for the duration of our stay the girl I complained to proceeded to ignore me every time I passed the lobby, as though I had offended her because I expected a clean bathroom, which was ridiculously petty.

Hotel has an awesome location. Everything was so close! Staff was awesome! Everybody was so courteous and helpful, especially Alejandro, he would always make sure all our tours and activities were perfect. He really gave a step further to accomplish that we had a perfect trip! Thank you, We will definitely come back!

The location and breakfast were great! We loved that there was parking at the hotel. The pool area is beautiful.

The bed was extremely firm... so much so that we did not sleep very well at all. If we had planned to stay more than one night I would have left and found a different hotel.
