Family room has AC, so we can stay cool only at night. Close to the super market Keells super, and to the bus station.

I really disappointed about points and felt trouble during my stay. 1) Bath room : not attached, outside the room crossing the living room. Owner told the bathroom is private for the guest of family room, but it doesn't look like for the guest use, not clean. No water comes out of the wash basin tap broken. 2) After 22:00 around, TV at living room was noisy and no one was watching, so I asked owner to turn off, so he was angry and said "You go in your room or go to other guest house!" Impossible such late at night. 3) Water stopped, no announcement : when I tried to take a shower just after 8:00 but no water, owner told that every day from 8 to 10 o'clock water stops, it may be a planned water cut off. Why he didn't tell me for the first day? If I knew before, I could take a shower before 8:00. He never apology and bluntly told me to use the tank water in the upstairs bathroom, but there still no water from the shower. In Sri Lanka, there is a tank on the roof of the building for water shortage and can be used for shower, but in this house there is no tank? Just a big bucket in the bathroom, and he told me to use that water. It didn't look clean and I felt very uncomfortable, but I had no other choice. Also I used my bottled water for tooth brushing.Unbelievable behavior for a guest. 4) Many items described for this room but actually not exist in a room : fan (looks removed from the ceiling), mosquito net, toilet paper, Linens(for cover the body), hairdryer, rack, drying rack for clothing. Owner didn't give me the private entrance key. I really confused about mosquito net, so asked to owner, he said "No problem if you close the window", so we couldn't open the window. On the window the curtain was not enough wide to cover the window, inside can be seen from outside. 5) They have a noisy dog (Dachshund) that always barks to us.

Nice host family, convenient location, clean room, comfortable beds, family room pretty spacious, nice small garden.

Bathroom is separated from the family room, it can be a bit inconvenient, especially at night.

The family were lovely and helpful towards us although we didn't see them around much, but we did only stay for 1 night.

The rooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs so can be a bit inconvenient. The air con unit was extremely loud and kept us up all night.
