pros: welcoming v decent breakfast (continental, they can make you custom omelettes, decent variety) good facilities gym clean, limited equipment but still useful club bar rooftop is awesome, great views, lots of food options and open for extended hours every day concierge was v helpful with travel arrangements, sightseeing advice etc location is excellent, walking distance right next to beach, top restaurants/venues etc quick 10-20min taxi ride for most sightseeing areas and shopping bed v comfortable, AC works great, powerful shower some rooms have balconies which are nice for views, has two chairs and table outside

cons: there is some road noise but mainly daytime (ambulances, etc), noise is less on higher floors so recommend asking for highest available for the type of room you have selected maybe a bit pricey for what you get, recommend checking price regularly as can fluctuate (sometimes last minute can get good deals)

Fantastic location - super close to metro to geta round easier than cabs, so really easy to get around Barcelona, with the beach, restaurants and plenty of the main sights within easy reach as well. The room was spacious, modern and very, very comfortable, and the balcony was a great addition. Everything felt clean and well maintained, and the hotel itself had a relaxed, high-quality feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and both outdoor pools / areas were lovely places to unwind after a day exploring the city. Overall, a great base for a Barcelona city break and somewhere we’d happily stay again.

The concierge, check in staff and restaurant staff were absolutely phenomenal, they are so lovely and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and looked after.

The bathroom had black mould and wasn’t clean, it was below par for the amount of money I paid to stay there. I did raise this with the front desk and the staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating in moving me to another room, although the entire floor (level 4 I think it was) had a smell of sewerage. The area didn’t feel safe. Even the rooftop pool there was questionable individuals which wasn’t the hotels fault as they were guests. There were several instances where I was on my own there and another guest in the pool area was photographing me, I felt uncomfortable and not safe enough to ask them not to. Wouldn’t recommend for solo female traveller. But couples and families are okay.
