Hotel Principe

We recently stayed at Hotel Principe and had an absolutely wonderful experience. • The Staff: Truly exceptional from the moment we arrived. Everyone was warm, welcoming, polite, and went out of their way to make sure we felt looked after. • The Breakfast: A very nice selection with fresh, delicious choices to start the day right. • The Location: Amazing and super convenient for exploring the area and getting around with ease. • The Rooftop View: Simply stunning! Watching the views from the rooftop took the whole experience to another level. Everything exceeded our expectations—we cannot wait to come back!

Nothing It was perfect

Charming, clean, old world classic and so welcoming

The room was spacious and the bathroom was a decent size and updated - water pressure was amazing!!! Beds were fairly comfortable, breakfast was plentiful, and staff were very kind. it was particularly hot despite air-conditioning and after the first night they provided us with a fan which was much appreciated.

The air-conditioning was ok but not great which made it uncomfortable to rest in our room during the middle of the day. Given the age of the building this is understandable but installation of a mini-split in each room would be a huge improvement!! Also there was no ventilation in the bathroom - no fan and the window could not be opened due to mosquitos (there was no screen) which made things very stuffy in the room after showering. Consider installing a screen. The access to cool drinking water was only available at breakfast and given it was nearly 100 degrees this was a surprise for this level of hotel.
