Astali Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay here - the rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfy beds and pillows, great A/C, excellent water pressure, and a nice big sink. The breakfast met all our needs, with lots of Greek options as well as eggs, bacon, etc. I liked the varieties of bread and pastry that changed daily! The owners and staff were lovely people, kind and very helpful with buying bus tickets and booking cabs and such. It's a bit of a walk to the town center, but super-close to Rethymno beach, easy to pop back and forth to the hotel if you forget your sunscreen :)

Obviously the traffic is beyond the owners' control, but the mopeds in particular can be noisy at all hours. We used a noise-canceling phone app (MyNoise), which helped a lot! Sensitive folks might want to request a room on the side away from the street.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich bewirtschaftet. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Es war etwas veraltet.

Good location at about 5 mins on foot from the beach — the town centre is a bit farther away, at approximately 15 mins. Breakfast was small but it had everything I needed. The staff are very welcoming!

The room was not too soundproof.

nice and great staff...

to expensive for just a room that is filled with the bed...
