Great location. Beautiful, clean cabana with wonderful terrace in the garden. Quiet neighbourhood, but close to the main street and beach. The host José was very helpful and gave great advice for stay and our further travel plans.

This is one of those rare 11/10 star places :) I cant really complain about anything.... We stayed 5 days in the area, Jose helped us in any way he could - got us to a some pretty awesome and low key tours too! The hose is amazing, very very nice beds, great isolation, bug protection didn't need AC at all. Very well made and with real attention to detail! Great bathroom, Wifi, veranda... We were very sad to leave.. oh did i mention that the breakfast was NEXT level! no more of the rice/beans thing - real great toasts, fresh fruits, coffee, etc... The best place in our CR stay (we stayed in 7 places...)

Our stay was hands down one of our best so far in costa rica, all thanks to the wonderful hosts and amazing room. The room itself was very clean, big, comfortable and fully equipped. It was located in a central area of puerto viejo which is close to all sights and attractions while being very quiet. The street is well lit and there is a parking option on site. The hosts themselves were very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and their tips and suggestions were second to none. Though we did not try Jose's breakfast, it looked absolutely delicious! We would come back in a heartbeat

A very pleasant, very clean, newly built facility where I felt well from the first minute. The host is outstanding, very care-taking, very supportive who keeps this property in an excellent condition.

Jose is a great host and helped us with information, a taxi, recommendations for a fantastic restaurant for my birthday dinner, etc. The room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed, good shower, great breakfast on the porch looking out at the garden. We like dogs and their shih Tzu, Quirrino is sweet. On the edge of town so nice and quiet considering we stayed during Easter and town was manic.

Once in a while you find a place with that special feeling. Casa Kimba is what happen when doing things with love. It is rare to meet people with such positive and servicing attitude as Jose. He goes way beyond expected to make you feel home, and adjust himself to any customer. For example for us it was the first days of our trip and Jose patiently gave us a lot (!) information (seriously this man's knowledge about Costa Rica better than any Google search) and helped us to plan our trip. He was available anytime for any question and always kind and helpful. The casa well equipped and beautifully decorated. We were surprised how it was much beautiful than the pictures. It is located in a very quite and green area (super friendly and safe) and still in the center of town. Perfect peaceful place to relax after long day of activities. Amazing and very recommended.

the room is impeccable and located in a quiet street very close to the Center of Puerto viejo, where all restaurants and bars are located. José is an amazing host and was extremely helpful with everything I needed, I would definitely come back here in another visit, highly recommended!

The cabin was very comfortable, clean and modern. The bed was very comfy and the nights were silent both of which made for a great nights sleep. The cabin was very spacious and had a large bathroom with a hot water power shower which wakes you up in the morning. The TV in the room is a smart TV which you can watch Netlfix etc on if you have an account. The breakfast on the porch was a great way to start your day. Jose is the best host I have ever encountered on my travels. He makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive until you depart.

The worst part is that we had to check out.

- Comfortable room - Really kind and caring owner - Great location (near beach, center, but quiet with a lovely garden) - Had some little extra’s, like coffee, chocolate etc.

I only ate twice,but it was healthy and delicious.Highly recommended!

The place is really nice, clean and comfortable. it is located very well, close to centrum and The beach and still very quiet. they serve a lovely breakfast at The balcony. we will recommend this place any time and really hope to be going back sometime!

The service at Casa Kimba is exceptional. The hosts were very welcoming and made this stay extra special. I could leave my bags with them before the check-in/check-out and they even brought it to my room when it was ready. The room is spotless and full of beautiful details! I felt like this is a place to recharge and relax. The two hosts are definitely doing this by heart and are truly great hosts! This was my best stay in Costa Rica.

Casa Kimba is the best place we stayed during our holiday in Costa Rica. The apartment is really nice decorated, the bed is very confortable and the apartment is close to the center od Puerto Viejo. Jose and Bellena are so warm and great people and we really enjoyed our evening talkings. They explain us a lot about Costa rica life, they gave us some good tips about further destination in Costa Rica. If we come again any time in the future we will definetly stay at Casa Kimba again.

Jose is the perfect host, he helps out wherever he can has great tipps what you can do in the area and his breakfast is delicious. The place is super nice, in a calm space and has a wonderful garden. Totally recommended!

The location is perfect, in a quite area in the downtown,the house is sourraunded by a beatiful green garden. The room with the patio totally confortable, clean with all you need for a great stay! Very clean bathroom is spacious, and bed super confy. The HOST, Mr. José he is simply the perfect host once can would like to meet! He make the difference with his professionalism and preparation. He is willing to help, smiling and super kind. He care about details, he is well prepared about all info regarding the area. Simply a special place where to come back and managed perfectly. Everything is so good! All fine!

Lovely decorated, everything new and very clean. Bungalow has the perfect size and is very comfortable. Hosts are very helpful and try to make the stay the best agreeable as possible. Location is quite good, a few meters from the beach and center, but it is located in a side street so it is calm. The best thing is to give a call to the owner when you are near as the house is not so easy to find. From my side they picked me up at the backery near by as I got lost :p The breakfast was for me ideal and I am already missing the fresh fruits and homemade papaya marmelade ;-) I can only recommend.

A small placard on the house would have been helpful to find it :)
