Booked this for a weekend away with friends and it not only met our expectations but exceeded them in the best way. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away in the most perfect location.

This wonderful house has everything our family needed fur a wonderful long weekend. The Kanye’s were great hosts and the location of this house can’t be beat. We loved it!

The Maine Event was as advertised. House was family friendly and right in the center of it all in OGT. We enjoyed the easy walks to the beach and town. Was perfect for our family with small children. Will 100% be looking to visit again.

This is our second year staying at this house and we couldn’t have been happier! The location is truly everything (short walk to the beach and town). The house had everything that we needed and was very comfortable for everyone. We look forward to returning again next year!

Our stay included two families of four. You can't beat this location, with views of the water and quick walks to the beach. The walk into the charming town is even quicker. The house had everything we needed, and more space than we could handle (not a bad thing at all). All the rooms were connected to roku and flat screen TVs, and the wine fridge and grill really came in handy. LOVED our stay!

We love this house. Location is ideal, well-stocked, comfortable beds, ocean views, easy check-in/out, and prompt communication w/owners. Looking forward to staying again next year.

We had a wonderful time at The Maine Event! The house was perfect for our large family. We celebrated Easter and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking gear, glassware etc that we needed. It’s really the perfect location and everything is clean and new. We definitely plan to return again in the future!

Our group just returned from a wonderful weekend at The Maine Event! We really appreciated the care and attention that’s obvious in this rental. We spent time walking to the beach and into town and the location can’t be better for both! We lucked out with terrific weather, but we’d have been ok with a rainy day in the house because it’s so comfortable and inviting. Communication was a breeze, everything was as expected and more. Very organized, well stocked throughout. We really hope to be back!

My friends and I just spent a few days at The Maine Event and it was amazing. It is a beautiful home that has everything you need and is super clean. The location could not be more perfect. Close to shops and beach and the neighborhood is very quiet. Can’t wait to visit again. Joanne

I brought a group of women to The Maine Event for a small bachelorette celebration and it was the perfect house for us! We stayed three nights and enjoyed walked to the beach and downtown for meals. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. Thank you, Kanes, for an incredible stay!

The set up is perfect for multiple families or for a family with several children. It is exactly as pictured in the listing. It is a short walk to Ogunquit’s beautiful main beach and an even shorter walk to the shops in town. Our five year old walked to town several times and could have walked to the beach, but we opted to take a stroller down to the beach to avoid carrying her on the way back. The house had puzzles, books, toys & games, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and two beach carts all of which was so helpful to not have to pack. We were able to park our car for several days and didn’t need it unless we wanted to venture out someplace further. The owners were friendly, approachable, and prompt in answering any questions we had and provided a binder with useful information. Our stay was perfect! We would highly recommend this fantastic rental to anyone and we hope to come back again soon!

Happy to find this property for our family's week in Ogunquit. The house is in a great location for walking to the beach, and enjoying the town. Our first vacation in Ogunquit and it could not have been more wonderful. The house is stunning - beautifully decorated with ocean views. And the location cannot be beat. Our favorite part was having Ogunquit’s amenities all within walking distance - we only used our car once to get groceries. We strolled to get coffee and açaí bowls in the morning, walked to beach during the day and tried a different restaurant each night. The owners were incredibly responsive and answered questions prior to our arrival. Our teens are already asking when we can go back!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. Very clean and comfortable. Great views of the ocean and river. Close to town and the beach. Plenty of space to relax. Owners were easy to communicate with and always ready to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the house over Memorial Day weekend. The house was spacious, beautiful, and clean. The location made for an easy walk to town or the beach. The house was even equipped with toys and books that our toddler enjoyed. We can’t wait to book our next stay!
