Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Whatcha Dune. The house is spacious, has plenty of sleeping space, and I knew it was the perfect fit for our family of 7. It sits a bit farter from the beach than almost any house in Seaside, but it backs up to a quiet wooded area and the outdoor living spaces are great. The added square footage and peaceful setting were the right tradeoff for our crew. The last stay in this particular house was about 6 or so years ago, and not much has changed. There is a ton of the owner's stuff all around the house and there is no storage in the third floor loft area. It seems like this has become a catchall for the things they don't want but don't want to purge. Especially in the kitchen, the clutter takes up the majority of the storage space. We were grateful for the basket of sand toys and the games inside for family fun nights! All in all, we'll definitely stay here again. We are HoCo loyalists, if that is a thing. The quality of homes is head and shoulders above the other management companies.

The upstairs loft is great for young children as long as they can navigate stairs with ease. The upstairs screened in balcony was a great place to relax with good weather.

The kitchen was well stocked, and the location was great. We could easily walk to the beach, pools, and into town. We will definitely consider renting again!

Only complaint is that with staying a week at the beach with children, washing clothes is a must, and the washer and dryer were the smallest possible.
