Loved the spaciousness of the lodge, the built-in entertainment like the pool table and Starlink satellite. We didn’t have time to partake in a camp fire. Plenty of woods and yard for our pooch to run and explore; we are happy for the pet-friendly space. The only reason we gave one 4 star answer is because there was no microwave as mentioned on amenities. I also would suggest to have hard copies of the check-out procedure, television and thermostat usage directions. We would like to stay longer next time to enjoy all the area has to offer and will definitely look up this lodge again for future booking.

The kids loved it. Especially the lofts and pool table. We loved it too.

Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the wonderful Copper County air. Kids enjoyed all of the various places to sleep, loved the pool table and the internet was fantastic.

The cabin was spacious for us. Very clean. We loved the whole property. Property is nice and private yet close to town thaf you can go and grab anything you need. It was nice having a pool table and the corn hole right there to use if you wanted to just chillout for the day or in the evening. Also if your into the rock hunting there are two beaches that are within 10 minutes that are great for it! Hosts were easy fo communicate with and responded very quickly. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

This is a great house with plenty of room for our big group! Lots of privacy but just a short trip to town. Plenty to do with the age range of people we had. Host was very good at answering any questions quickly. I would highly recommend.

Conveniently located in the peninsula and so close to Lake Superior, but remote and private with a quiet road. The property had more than we needed and kept our two busy boys entertained. The beds slept great, property stayed surprisingly low in bug population, and we even had a bear visit and leave us morning tracks!

Comfortably accommodated a family party of eleven, age ranges 3 - 46. Plenty of beds and no one felt crowded! After driving twenty hours from NY, it was great to come, let ourselves in, and find everything prepared for our four-night stay in beautiful Upper Michigan. Thank you!

Quaint getaway for the weekend close to the Lake & Calumet. Very comfortable cabin in a beautiful spot with responsive, helpful hosts. Highly recommended!

Awesome place for a family gathering with a convenient location to everything in the Keweenaw peninsula. Truly a wonderful location to be with loved ones.

It might seem like an odd thing to rave about, but the water quality was fantastic. We typically bring drinking water, but the water there was great so no need. Had a great time!

... and what we were looking for. Absolutely perfect for our stay in the area and good communication with host. Very rustic and far enough off the beaten path to make you feel isolated. Probably perfect for large group of hiker/bikers/hunters that are looking for a base of operation - and that are prepared for camping. Town, trails, lake all within easy striking distance. We plan a return trip for a small family get together in the future! W&M

We had a great stay and this was perfect to relax in the evenings after full days of outdoor activities. The kids enjoyed the pool table and some Netflix to relax. It was nice being so close to downtown Calumet. We were able to easily get coffee, breakfast and even rent snowshoes. We hope to fit in another stay here in the the future.

Nice location in the woods. Provided just what we needed. Misty and Jason were great to deal with. Will definitely use them as hosts again.

This is a great place to stay if you want privacy and the convenience of being close to town. We had a family of five stay and the accommodations are great. The kids loved the bunk room and playing pool!

Accommodations as described and worked out great for our mixed group of skiers and snowmobilers. Communication by host throughout stay and really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our two week snowmobile trip here. We had a few problems at first, but Misty took care of everything. We would definitely recommend them,

Everything was wonderful. Nice to stay somewhere that has all the amenities of home.

Outside the cabin was a winter wonderland and inside was warm with lots of fun things to do. Kitchen ha all the utensils you could want. Plenty of clean linens and comfy beds. Owners were very responsive and did an amazing job of keeping the drive clear of lots of accumulating snow. The location is great. Close to McClain State Park nd Lake Superior and Calumet. Great place for our family to stay to celebrate Christmas.

This cabin has plenty of room for couples and several kids. Within driving distance to many activities. A nice base camp for all your UP activities.

Location was great, close to the lake and far away enough from people. The fall colors were at their peak, so it was perfect timing for a last minute get away. The inside of property could have been a little cleaner, the fans were extremely dusty and a lot of the dishes were not washed well from previous visitors, but we took care of that.overall he had a comfortable stay.

This place was perfect. Our kids favorite rooms were the bunk room and the lofts. Tons of space to just spread out and relax. Having the pool table gave us something to do in our downtime. The beds were comfy and there were enough for everyone to have their own bed! We look forward to staying here again!

The house was centrally located to all of our events, including copper harbor and Michigan Tech. We had fun in the evening playing pool and relaxing.

Our family really loved staying here, it was peaceful, great for the dog and really centrally located for everything we wanted to do in the area. They already took care of one complaint, what more could you ask! Looking forward to staying again. Thank you For sharing your place with us.

If you are looking for a rustic cabin, feel with modern touches this is for you. Just a nice peaceful place. Beds and pillows were comfortable, ac worked, lots of towels, kitchen was stocked, home was clean, and there is a nice gas grill on the spacious deck with plenty of chairs. Lots of sleeping room. There were eight of us and we only used the two bedrooms, -still more sleeping room in the two lofts each with two other beds. I was worried about the one bathroom, but even with the three small children it was not an issue. The home is in a nice quiet location and the beach is just a few miles down the road. You are on a main road, but you would never know it. The back yard is nestled back in the woods with lots of space for the kids and the dogs to run safely. We enjoyed a campfire and made smores with the kids before driving down the road to go Yooperlite hunting at Calumet Waterworks Park. On the one day it rained everyone was entertained with the pool table, and the hook and ring game (who knew that would be such a hit) You’re very close to some amazing trails, waterfalls, and beaches, 20 min. from Houghton (MTU), 5 to 10min. to Calumet for groceries, and a nice scenic drive to Copper Harbor. We drove all over trying to see as many sights as we could in the short time we were there but the grandkids had the most fun at the cabin and surrounding area -our 4 year old grandson was very upset when we had to leave "his new cabin in the woods". Would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your lodge.
